Thuren axle truss install on a 2013+ Ram 2500/3500 front axle. Might have missed a few things but this should be very helpful! These techniques can also be used for installing our more simple 2003-2013 front axle truss.
So I work at the facility where these are tested, it would be an amazing comparison to test a trussed axle like this vs a non trussed axle just to see how much stronger it is
Ok I have always heated cast iron before welding . Kind of a normal cast iron process. Was the reason you didn't want it hot because you didn't drain the differential? Or was that nodular iron?
