Thursday Captain Boot in Terracotta leather review

Oof hard to say 🤔 Red Wing 🤷🏻‍♂️ even though I own Viberg, Nicks, Sagara etc.

I had the Arizona, I agree the Terracotta is their best option imho

Good man, I’m a 10E and wear a 9.5D but it depends on the person

(Bottom up) paperboard lasting board, thin layer of crepe, thin layer of poron and then a thin layer of leather. That’s what you see. You can’t call it a SOLID leather insole but as thin as cheap as it is, your foot still lays on leather🤷🏻‍♂️

Right on man, I feel that. I’ve had all sorts of brands, including those. I only kept this pair of Thursdays, I’ve got Viberg, Nicks, Sagara, Dayton etc. I should do reviews on the others🤔 I wanted to start small though🤷🏻‍♂️

I’m curious as to why you’ll never buy another pair of Thursday Boots and prefer paying double the price for Grant Stones. Just asking because I might look into buying Grant Stone and I’m just get into buying Boots.

@@Tain950 when i compare the two you i clearly see the quality difference. It's like buying an apple for the first time and you said to yourself i ain't going back to budget android phone. Even paying triple the price of an $900 iphone vs budget android phones that only cost around $200-$400 Does that make sense?

@@64gbdata11 Yes makes a lot of sense that’s actually a perfect analogy. Unfortunately I had serious issue with Thursday quality control. I received a pair of Boots yesterday and they arrived visibly used already 😕

@@matthewturner9002 there’s two shades the company produces, look at their .com, the difference between the first and second pic. They sent me the light ones once, I kinda want a pair, but a lot of them come with the skinny leather stack, stained almost black. You’ll see variations in stitching too, sometimes matching, contrast, etc. Idk if that’s still a thing though, they might’ve made production more consistent with the new factory they have 🤷🏻‍♂️ I know mostly all boots inside and out, heritage nerd.

They’ve got 2 different shades, Thursday used to be inconsistent with their production. Some pairs would have matching stitching, some contrast, some would have fat dark brown heel stacks, others a slim black, yeah. Think they finally leveled out with that new factory they bought

@@c.s.herman860 yeah a bunch of times now. If you wanna keep the original Nubuck texture, use Bick 4. It’s perfect for this leather.

@@Coleone139 I actually much prefer the look of yours! A bit darker and smoother
