Thank you, Dr. Mohler, for the updaate on the current developments in "The Game of Thrones" on this planet. I liked that you took the last segment on Thailand's move to legalize same gender marriage to a Biblical world view. I wish you would have taken the first segment on the "Axis of Evil" to a Biblical world view. I agree we need a world view which is objective; but we must not ignore the supremely objective Biblical perspective on it--the militaristic events developing between nations and aimed at Israel and a free world, ultimately bent on ushering in a one world system defiantly opposed to all that is holy, all that is of Christ. (All the current pawns in this objective are expendable and will be either subservient or crushed and disposed of when the ancient adversarial power behind these movements accomplishes its objective.) The Bible clearly states that what is happening in that arena now has been foretold from millennia past. We have fallen asleep and have been duped into rewriting or deconstructing history, and grown dull of hearing. Nobody is paying attention to the bottom line nor the consequences of such a world system--mainly because the truth is considered relative, and the truth is increasingly mingled with lies (another ancient cultural bargaining/influencing mechanism of those who have hated Isaac and Israel and the God who set them apart in His redemptive covenant to be bearers of His truth in a world of nimrods). It may be past the time when carnal weapons of warfare in the "free world" can do anything to reverse what has been set in motion. But even if it cannot be reversed, Scripture clearly states the way to be prepared for it and to endure it and to even live victoriously through it--not by ignoring it or numbing it or stockpiling or partying through it. it makes me understand why my desire for pointing people to Christ has been painfully earnest in a world caught up in one alarm of war after another. The very same alarms ought to be causing the Church, i.e., those who know the One who is sovereign and who reigns now and forever--the One who has overcome the world--to point people who are caught up in this "Game of Thrones" to Him! And pray with all their might for His mercy in what unfolds under His sovereign hands. I know you aren't on this platform to preach; you just want to articulate a reasonable perspective on the headlines. But the Scriptures are rational and reasonable; and your silence on their historical, reasonable commentary of what we are experiencing in this world might appear to add credence to the lie that a Biblical world view is irrational.
