Why would you spend third of your video on reviewing a box? Thursday box is nice, but I really don't thinks it's worth 30 percent of your video timing, we came here for the boot, not the packaging)
For real. The only thing I care about packaging is...did it prevent damage. And then being compostable is an added bonus. These reviewers gloating over packaging are leading to more garbage waste and higher cost of items trying to please everyone into packaging.
I have these! They're my favorite pair of shoes! My favorite design is the black on black. If the bottom rubber were white they would get and look dirty easily!
@@MichaelHsu95 Yes! I already have the black matte captains, black matte explorer, and the black combat. Love the fit and style so slowly collecting them.

Great video, Michael! I have the same sneakers and they are awesome. Except for one thing. Does the tongue on your sneakers slide down while wearing them, to create a bulge over the back of the toe cap? I'm just trying to determine if this is normal for these shoes. Cheers
I had the same issue with a pair of Toffee! (Have the white and it’s not an issue). Email Thursday. They are taking care of it for me! They said there may be a twist in the last causing the issue.
@@dinkthinks3958 I also have the white and you are correct, it's not an issue. Since my post, Thursday replaced the shoes and the new ones don't have a problem. These people are so great and that's why I keep buying their shoes. Thanks for your comment!
I got the same pair been wearing for a few times. Just wondering how this would look after a couple months or a year of wearing since it’s black and resilient
Some high friction spots will have a sheen to em. Normal creases here and there. They really soften over time like slippers. The leather doesn't change much lookswise. Just got the high tops.
Are they true to size? I usually wear 11-11.5 in most shoes and boots. I’ve never owned a pair of Thursday’s so I’m not sure if I should go with 11 or up a size. I wear an 11.5 in Converse for reference. Thanks!
@@MichaelHsu95 for anyone coming across this, I ordered a half size down from normal based on this comment, and then realized thursday only recommends a half size down for boots. For shoes they recommend your normal size, or if you're in between, choose the larger size. The half size down ones just arrived and are definitely too small.
I own two pairs of Thursday sneakers (Heritage Cacao and Legacy White/Green). These are very confortable shoes, keep in mind these are leather sneakers so there is always a breaking periods, in this case it doesn’t take to much for them to break. On sizing I use 8.5 in most sneaker brands (Nike, Reebok, Adidas, etc) and Thursday fit true to size. I order 8.5 not only on their sneaker but also on their boots. At the end it also depend on how narrow or wide your feet are. In my case my feet are narrow.

@@rhubarb1073Same for me, very nice looking but too small. It became tolerable if I took out the insoles but it's playing on the comfort. At least now I can wear them...
