@@BlindGuardian050 Yup they were, performed Liar on Letterman. Conan, Bill Mahar, Jimmy Kimmel, were the other biggest network television performances they did.
I mean, what do you expect from the NY Times? lol "Well, they have distorted guitars, but they don't quite sound as angry as that Jimmy Hotfield guy... I guess we'll just say they're like U2 meets Metallica." [Back patting intensifies]
That was probably the worst comparison of all time, I'd say thursday would be in the realm of like at the drive in or sunny day real estate or far, but not fucking metallica and lame ass U2.
@@crowing3886 no he was just tone deaf for their first three records lol he admitted this. His improvement is very noticeable between War All the Time and ACBTLD
Love the sassy stage presence! Great performance from all of them. Also, why does Geoff look different here? He looks like a different person kinda haha
I heard this performance, particularly the vocals got them dropped from a label. Geffen, I believe. But he sounds like he normally sounds singing. It’s honestly mixed terribly. I used to work for a very famous band and i can tell you most if not all tv show performances are mixed like shit. tv shows are all around terrible places to play in general
Liam Gallagher push play they were only very famous for a short amount of time but they opened for miley, beiber, jonas bros and lame shit like that. and i also worked for cee lo green for a little bit until i had my daughter and wanted to stop touring.
