I was driving a Thwaites and a Bomford tipper for a couple of weeks a few years back helping to dig a slurry pit. Ropey old things, great fun to drive but they don't half throw you about! Just a heads up, Farm Sim 18 will more than likely be a mobile game going by their recent trend. Even years on mobile, odd on PC/console
That's the general rule of thumb with Giants, main game every 2 years with a handful of DLC whilst working on the next one. It seems to me as though they make the PC/console game, then make the dumbed down mobile version for the following year.
Well I reckon after this FS17 prize we'll do one FS18 when it comes out for anyone that has the Nintendo and as soon as FS19 comes out, we'll get a copy to giveaway !
While I was there I notice the dumper were very popular. From small to large and at least one at every worksite . We don't see those very often here though. Not sure why. Thanks for the operational overview.
I used to work on a dairy which used one of these but they had taken off the skip and mounted a 3 point on the front and a leveller for the sand beds on a small ram on the side. It was an interesting Frankenstein machine but it got the jobs done quickly
haha great!! vid as allways LM My freind!! And that Lil dumper is awsome man I'd love to have one of them!! lol your a dam good feller bud! And I'm glad I found your channel pard!! carry on and be safe!! ;-)
was just using a thwaites 1 ton dumper today terrible slow, have to drive upwards of a mile on a rough footpath, the last thing i herd they are looking for a 3 ton one instead only got the 1 ton this morning.
I think the 1 toners are hydrostatic and made fairly slow to stop them being tipped over. 3 tonner will be manual with clutch probably but much better.

Our old merlo had the same looking perkins engine but a turbo version, 4.4l 102hp and the new one has a 3.6l 120hp deutz gutless wonder of an engine give me the old perkins anyday.
Few years behind here, but come on Muckers, Question. What ever did the poor dumper driver do to piss off the designers so they skipped the cab on most machines?! Seen a few about these days with a cab but mostly out to enjoy the fine British weather!
