I remember buying the cassette tape out of curiosity at a local place called warehouse records in the 90s. Me and my friends all jammed this song to our kicker, orian subs, and house stereos for many years after. Good times.
The neighbor was playing his bass too loud. I turned this song on my stereo with the bass up for 1 minute. Yeah... he got the message and turned his down.
so much bottom end fell into a trance, had a dream with in a dream, it was somewhere between sleep & space & it was all about the bass. Woken up by the sound of the bass, twice, remembered a hypnotist once said to me "you will wake up.. when you hear the sound of the bass" that was 20 years ago, remember who I am. Keep having déjà vu, "evolution" feel like I've been here before, 50 millions years of bass.
Literally out of the package, no burn-in, the Audio-Technica ATH-M50S is vibrating my MIND. I can't wait to see what these will do once they're burnt in! I'm so stoked.
They're just getting better! I just wish there was some way to get them closer into my ears. Seriously considering surgically implanting them over my ears.
They are! I worked at best buy and went to our audio department and tryed out all of our headphones and the bose seemed the best so far. I thought Dr Dre's new headphones that came out before the holidays were going to be the best but they didnt handle as well as the bose. Bose not only has great bass but great sound quality, listen to live stuff, sounds like your there, and they are affordable not over priced, unless your going for the newer versions but around the ear ones are great.
Headphones can just as easily create sound that sounds fantastic. They also have the advantage of isolating outside noise. There is a very big difference between noise and accurate reproduction.
@DIRENGREY097 pioneer HDJ 1000s are also very good for monitoring as well as general music playing. responds very well to high bass as well as high volume
Big, Vintage, Mordaunt-Short floor-standers, Parasound Amp, and a large SpeakerCraft Dual-driver Sub... I love my setup so much more than my neighbours, for some reason...
@SKazclaw Thats the price in my country too though (Norway) but i think its worth it. they are amazingly powerfull and good for watching movies or music .
just in case anybody is wondering the sample pack used for this song: trisamples.com/808-trapstep-pack-vol-2/ I'm 100% sure this is the 808 that they used but it sounds like they messed around with the settings so its not exactly the same but its pretty damn close. the name of the 808 file should be: 808 Bass Em Gowers Edition.wav
@dariushall21 actually bose does make car audio. look in things like corvettes, Cadillacs, buicks, lincons, some fords, higher end eropean cars, and the aftermarket. you will always be able to find bose. hell my girlfriends subaru has bose speakers installed out of a cadillac.
When a friend and I were sharing an apartment, the neighbor below was always playing some shitty music with a lot of bass. They decided to play music really loud at around the time I needed to go to bed. So I loaded this song on my friend's surround sound system and cranked it up. My friend happens to walk in and asks what I'm doing. I tell him I'm giving the neighbors some revenge. "Oh....well CRANK IT UP!" He says. They tried "competing" by turning their system up louder. But we just turned ours up even louder. Pretty soon, we figured enough is enough. So we turned ours down. After that, I couldn't hear theirs. Guess they got the hint and was able to sleep peacefully that night.
