I know I’m late on this ....I came across your videos while searching RAI uptake test...I subscribed 💖....it gives me hope that there are good doctors out there....I’ve been through a mess of doctors who just wanted to put me on depression and anxiety meds...not until I was hospitalized was I taken seriously....I’m so glad you have yourself a doctor who cares🙏🏼.....I go this morning for my last scan for my thyroid (I took the RAI pill yesterday)....Thank you so much for sharing your story it really helps....sending tons of love and positivity 💖💖

You are so fortunate to have a good doctor. So many doctors would just give you a pill without fully understanding your condition. Thyroid issues can be complicated.

Thank God she is taking the time out to do a full work up. They didn’t find out I had Hashimoto Thyroiditis til I was admitted to the hospital 😬 Now I’m getting the help I need. Of course I can’t ttc until they get it under control. I’m a sickle cell carrier but my husband isn’t. We found that out through genetic testing 🤞🏾

Yes girl thank God she is want's to figure it out instead of doing the min and sending me on my way. It sucks that some doctors won't even think twice about pushing some kind of bandaid on you. I hope you get to start trying soon girl good luck!

I live close to you kinda. I wonder who’s your doctor! I’m going through thyroid problems! Tomorrow I go for the Uptake Scan test! I’m nervous 😟 I hope everything goes well with you! I just became a subscriber and I will be keeping up with you! I was placed on methimazole and my hair became dry, brittle, and damaged!

Thank you for subscribing and supporting! I hope your scan went well and you get good results. My scan came back confirming graves disease, however, it was a false positive because my prolactin levels were high due to a small brain tumor that I am currently being treated for. Thank God it was caught through labs and a MRI so that I could be treated properly instead of just being treated for graves. I'm on Cabergoline right now and the side effects are crazy!

I also have PCOS, have been on a long fertility journey, and this past month was diagnosed with Hyperthyroidism. have my uptake scan tomorrow, and have been doing some RU-vid "research" to learn more about other peoples journeys.

Good luck with your scan tomorrow! I have a video of my scan experience as well. After my scan my endocrinologist discovered that I have sub clinical hyperthyorism that was likely due to my high prolactin, which was high from my prolactinoma. Have you had yours checked yet? Baby dust to you!!

She sounds like a good doctor. I have PCOS and some of the blood work is to help diagnosis PCOS. I was Vitamin D deficiency for years it was 16 but now it is 56 cause I take Vitamin D Maximum 3 days a week. I hope you get the answers you need😊

I like this doctor a lot she has been super helpful in figuring things out with my health. I'm not sure what my vitamin D levels are but hopefully things return to normal. Thank you for watching!

Marsheena King I have low vitamin d as well. Can that cause goiter issues?

@@LoveTaunya I'm going through a similar thing. Still no answers. Was also trying to conceive and have experienced loss. Methimazole and propranolol are probably what doc prescribed. What's the name if the doctor? I'm willing to try anything.

It sounds like you have a really great pcp and that's great because its usually not like that at all. A lot of the lab work is general lab work but the others are hormonal, a diabetic profile, and allergen levels. She's really thorough and that's good. I take the D3 as well and its the same dosage. I take the gummies as well and I get them when they are buy one get one free. I pray that they figure out what's going on.

My PCP is awesome but this new doctor is a general Endocrinologist. She is good! hopefully she figures it all out!

I am really scared as I am having a thyroid uptake test in two weeks. They are already talking about removing my thyroid. Did you end up having yours removed??

No I didn’t. I ended up being diagnosed with sub clinical hyperthyroidism and high prolactin

@@LoveTaunya -Thank you!! Hoping to get a diagnosis not requiring removal. I have 6-7 nodules in my thyroid.😳😰
