ThyssenKrupp made the wheels for the hp4 race but not for the s1000rr M. Although they look very much the same. The ThyssenKrupp ones are much better since they are less prone to cracking. The technique they use for the carbon weave at ThyssenKrupp is unique. BMW used a cheaper supplier for the s1000rr M. I have already had to replace my s1000rr carbon wheels under warrantee since they cracked on me.

You need to come ride some of my bikes - 2000 ZX12, 1986 Suzuki RG 500 Walter Wolf, 1984 and 1984 Kawasaki GPZ 750 Turbo's, 2007 Honda CBR1000rr Nicky Hayden edition - 1900 miles, 2006 Yamaha R1 LE #275, blah blah. Would love to have you come and review the old school bikes.

ThyssenKrupp makes elevators. My friend works for them in the local 1 here in NJ.

I think ThyssenKrup makes the OEM wheels for the M package. They look a lot like the M ones and they’re one of the only manufacturers of carbon wheels that can keep pace with BMW’s demand. Anybody able to confirm?

What does Zack recommend to do as avoidance of getting chain cleaner or lube on the rear tire? Each time I do it I get a bit on the tire and wipe it off but I can't help but think it's soaking in to my tire and I'm gonna have a real bad time leaned over one day.
