I think the lines like Lakad Matatag and The Next level play proves that pinoys are so good in trashtalk, that they dont even need to cuss to make you feel bad (even though the origin of the lines are used for positive things,like "lakad matatag" is almost the same as "this is sparta" and the "next level play" are for compliments, but somehow it can be also used as a trashtalk.) Im pinoy too, so i kinda know how, in the perfect moment, hard this line hits mentally during a game.

what an idiot, trash talking can be applied to online games. trash talking doesn't just mean using profane language, it is also being used for small talk but with a lot of meaning to it. how can this comment gets lots of likes, I don't know why.
doesn't make any difference to normal trashtalk for me though. i.e. a player can chat 'noob AF lol' to trashtalking someone and people will see it as a joke because it's on all star game the intention is what matters. is Pain Gaming try to tilt/ trashtalk someone, or really just joking around and trolling people? they might use chat wheel to justify their 'trashtalk'. it's nice seeing them not making it past group stage though. their use of chat wheel is way too much and not even looks funny anymore, just like overused joke

I can’t understand why some voicelines are even funny. People are just spamming it like the normalin one. Even i know the story behind it but it doesnt make any sense of why people spamming it.
Jonathan Johhny no need to translate. There are bunch of explainations out there but i still don’t find it funny. Idk what’s going on with dota community. The russian voicelines are funny cool but not the normlin one.
