Great video, I'm learning a lot from your content. If I have more than one HMI in the process, is it possible to have the same users/passwords in all of them? I mean, without having to create N times the same user, password, etc.? Thanks.
Hi Hegamurl :) The thing you you said about being able to overwrite the users in the HMI, and ofcourse try not to - could this be solved by starting (if posible) to upload from the HMI just like I can do from a PLC? By that I mean upload all the new users and passwords so they also will become a part of the TIA-project.
İf you are watching videos from play list, there is a video called ''TIA Portal: User Administration / Password Protection on HMI Screens'' before this video, but it is not on the list so make sure watch it first.
Yeah, I also noticed something about the video before, but it is not there - now I know what to look for, thanks :) @Hegamurl - perhaps you could put in this missing video of this very fine list of education - Thank you for making these videos! MUCH appreciated!
Serwus! Is it possible to use info about which user is logged in program? For example: I would like to create user group "Service", after log in I would like to display advanced settings, after logout it will dissapear ( buttons etc.). MfG Hadrian
Hi Hegamurl, very usefull your videos, congratulations. I have a problem in one machine that it's in other country. The operator wrong the password 3 times and the machines turn into a safety mode. Is there any procedure to enable again the chance to enter the password again or anything similar over the HMI (OP177B) directly?. It's possible to solve the problem avoiding to have to go phisically there with a PG and connecting to the HMI? Thanks in advance!! Martin
Hi Hegamurl! Great videos! Keep doing it please! Sorry, will you be able to make a video about FDA 21 CFR for electronic recordings and GMP Good Manufacturing Practise? Many thanks in advance :)
Hello, As usual I have a question :-) If I have a lot of machines and they will works 24/7, I just need the HMI 1 Hour per month per machine. Is there a solution to use one HMI like a Hand Terminal? I mean the HMI belong my tool box and not belong the machine. ( question of coast...of course)
Hi Jean-Yves, I'd recommend using one mobile panel: mall.industry.siemens.com/mall/en/WW/Catalog/Products/10240686?tree=CatalogTree These can easily be connected/disconnected to "connection boxes": mall.industry.siemens.com/mall/en/WW/Catalog/Product/6AV2125-2AE03-0AX0 You could have one program on the HMI that covers all machines and just plug/unplug the HMI when needed. Have one connection box installed in each machine (connection box has 24V supply and network connection integrated) and that's it!
