Yes, S7-1200 has a MRES . It's called Cabinet Main Power Switch :D.

It's a little pity for S7 1200 does not have a external reset option, what in the case if it is not answering (because of a bug in the system) while you are trying to discover it in TIA portal . How to restore it to the factory settings. ?? I've just had an issue with it, hopefully it was possible to get its ip address from arp table and to connect to it eventually. ( )

Great vid as always. Quick q, I know this seems obvious but can users do the factory reset if they are to download a lower version of tia than the currently downloaded one? I.e. theres currently a v17 program downloaded on the plc and i want to download a v16 program on it.

Hello, I have a problem with the s7 1200, I can't upload the project because it says it is not compatible, the project was made with tia portal v11, and has a 1.0.1 firmware, and I only have tia portal v15.1 , which does not already have this firmware, and says that it is incompatible, I tried to do the factory reset, but the button does not appear to me, how can I do the factory reset? thank you Ricardo Cruz

Hallo, ich schaue mir deine Videos oft an.. na ja, ich lerne. Ich mag die Art, wie du es erklärst. es ist super. meinst du, dass du das Konzept mit der Zeit erklären kannst? indirekte Adressierung? Singalisierungsbit. zum Beispiel: die Fehlernummer auf dem HMI und dann im Block finden Wenn sie nicht markiert ist und der Querverweis sie nicht finden kann? wie es geht ? danke Roman.

What if the s7-1200 has a memory card? Does that mean it's a factory reset or a hard reset? and if i remove the memory card is it a factory reset now or just a hard reset? What if I just want to make a normal reset (not a hard reset) for the s7-1200 what to do?

Dear Sir, I like Your presentation very much. Sir, I have a problem with S&-416-2DP PLC, It is a used PLC setup with CP-443-1, CP441-2 and 4xAI modules. Each time when I start, it has all blocks and hardware that was previously in it at the running facility. I want to delete all these and want to reuse for my own code.
