@got2bjosh
@got2bjosh 6 месяцев назад
@@bryanwilliams648 A reality check popped Tiafoe's celebrity-obsessed ego. There's always someone around the corner waiting to take the racket out of your hands. Shelton is simply next level with much bigger weapons. It Induced a much needed identity crisis in Tiafoe who got too comfortable as the top (now displaced) noir dog. Thompson is a MUCH better player than last year. Ground down Oldal in Brisbane. The Los Cabos win was no fluke. He's in better form. Tiafoe is finding his again in the wake of accepting that a Slam win simply won't happen just because you say so. Today's top players are too good. Glad he played well, though.

Unlike that Miami flopfest, we have two Americans into the Houston SF. Shelton's dad won in 1992. They face stiff competition from clay court specialists in Itchyberry & Daredevil. You'd think the DJ would play Cowboy Carter. A missed opportunity to rep the Houston native. **Shout out to umpire Allensworth who admitted he missed a call and had Shelton & Nakashima Lady Gaga Replay the pointdexter UNLIKE Rask in that Estoril debacle. @whenelvescry2625
@whenelvescry2625 6 месяцев назад
you can read where the opponent will hit the shot based on where they are relative to the ball. In order for tiafoe to hit the shot crosscourt, he would have to either get to the ball early and go behind and around to the other side of the ball, or contort his arm in a way that doesn't give him much leverage or power on the ball. With how little time tiafoe had to get there, thompson was expecting tiafoe to get there late and not have the angle, and be forced to hit a down the line keep-it-in-play hail mary. but tiafoe got more speed than thompson expected, and managed to hit the shot.

This is Texas, and we wanna be represented well at everything. Love this tournament, no shade at all to the people putting it on, you’re doing wonderful, I’m js. Like it could be a thing to strive for. “Are you hot enough to join the all Texan ball girl team at the Houston tournament?” You don’t even have to worry about the “backlash” because only people who hate beautiful women would be doing it, and what are people who want to destroy your tournament really worth anyway.
