Tiana's Bayou Adventure Queue and Complete Ride Through

I am so ready to ride this the next time I go back to Disney World!!

You can make areas of any ride look good, it the overall experience that matters. This ain't cutting it.

Seeing it with the queue, there's so much setup with zero payoff. You're zigzagging in and out of a salt mine and bayou, there's dynamite on site, all this setup like a sequel set years after the original movie, and the ride itself is just all these feel-good musical numbers with no bite to any of it. Like if someone pitched this as the plot for an actual movie, they'd be told to go home and rewrite it because there's no real story. Clearly there's a more thrilling story that wanted to be told, the clues are there, but some exec came in and said that the only parts of the ride that could be scary were the big drops themselves. Pure speculation, obviously, but that's the only thing that makes sense to me. Visually the ride looks amazing, the music score in and out of the queue is fantastic, and they actually gave us real, upgraded animatronics instead of a bunch of screens and those creepy animatronics with the backlit projector faces! But oi vey the ride story is so dull they might as well have just built a generic dark ride in Fantasyland and called it a day. A note to all those future imagineers out there: if you're building a themed thrill ride relying on the mechanics on the ride to bring all the thrills, you're doing something wrong.

Splash Mountain always will be.

Looks ok

It looks great except for one thing. The build up to the big splash. That part should be Dr. Facilier and his friends coming back to sing “Friends on the Other Side”. I know this is supposed to be set after the movie but the way it is now feels anticlimactic. Everyone sees how Friends on the Other Side would make the build up to the big splash more exciting, especially the “are you ready??” part. What idiot at Disney told them NOT to do that??

I love this retheme 💚 I will always love the OG Splash Mountain, but I really love this. Can't wait to ride it next time I go!

Another Disney downgrade. Such a disappointment and dull story. Tiana deserved better. Fans deserved better.

Why isn’t the water running on the drop?!

While I loved the OG, I wasn't unhappy about the re-theme to Tiana. But this is...underwhelming. The story line is practically non-existent, there's no interaction with Tiana and her Naveen, and Lottie only shows up at the end. Placing them in "hunt" for the musicians along with Tiana might've given it a more conversational, interactive feel, and would've provided opportunities for humorous vingettes. The lead up to the what should be the waterfall would've been so much better if you had Tiana reassuring Lottie and Naveen and us that we were going to be just fine--almost everybody survives the drop after all! And on that note, if they don't add the water back to the waterfall, what's the point of it being a log ride? Might as well head over to Universal and ride Dudley Do Right's Ripsaw Falls.

People, watch princess and the frog and compare it to song of the south. Is it modern or old

Someone got ripped off building this disappointing ride. Sad they can't afford the water on the last plunge.

The animatronics of Tiana and the other characters give me the creeps; those things are nightmares.

I think it's cute, but, with all the money spent on those animatronics, the ride moves way too fast to fully understand what they're saying and enjoy the scenes. There are a few blank areas, they could have added a little bit of extra swamp props. I think they rushed to finish it so they could open it sooner. I'm really surprised with all the people riding it already without it officially being open. If that's not open for the public, then who are the people riding it?

Is it just me or is it kinda creepy how the eyes on the lifeless statues just follow you everywhere you go? 😖👀

That look so much fun now we just have to wait for Disneyland to open too also some people has no sense of fun.
