I am laughing so hard at “Tiana’s Garbage Fire Bayou Adventure.” That’s what everyone should call it. You need to make a logo and sell that on shirts!

Thank you for riding so we don't have to. 35 year old Tiana the Archeologist sitting in the dark all by herself near the fireflies.... that's not something that could cause nightmares.

Which are kinda everywhere? 😂 I worked with animatronics for a large part of my career, with exception to some key figures in this ride, the rest reminded me of Chuck E. Cheese. How do I know this? The first Louis mouth was not moving and the Tiana after him was not moving correctly. I think this animatronics have been botched… there should not be this many issues at this stage of the attractions opening.

Just call this RIDE "Tiana's Botched Up Jinxed Log Jam Bayou Mis Adventure Ride". I give it just a few months before this is closed down and they bring back Splash Mountain. I know what the problem is, and that's The Ghosts of Splash Mountain are making sure everything isn't working like it should. This is what happens when Disney gets too concerned with the 0.1% of people who found Splash Mountain offensive. Great video by the way...thanks for riding this for us so we don't have to wait for the approx. waiting time of 2 days and dealing with that hot humid Florida weather...it' bad enough here in South Carolina, but worse there at Disney...

The characters say the same thing 4 times in a row - Lewis - this band can play hallelujah. Tiana - this band can play no doubt. Lewis - these guys can jam. Tiana - they sure can play. Gonna drive me nuts

The night you saw this, the ride itself had a Log Jam and in need of an Exlax!! Im just glad you made it to the other side. lol

Why did they not just do a storyboard ride? The movie itself would be a far superior plot line for the ride as opposed to whatever this is. Dr. Facilier is nowhere to be seen and he would be a great a villain in this with the shadows and darkness.

You can definitely hear Ray in the Gonna Take You There sections when, according to the direct-to-video sequel plot they created for this attraction, he is as dead as Facilier. If Facilier can’t be here because he’s dead then why is Ray here? Why didn’t they bother rerecording it? This should’ve never been a sequel but the team who made this wanted to have their cake and eat it too.

Read my lips, this will be the next people mover. Disney broke this 80s ride by trying to plug tech from 45 years later into it. They’ll be stuck with a broken down and unpopular attraction for the foreseeable future.

Ok, I know I am late to the party with this, But I am going to say it. I watch lots of different RU-vid channels, from politics to the culture war. One of the overall themes that I keep seeing from the black RU-vidrs that I watch is that when if comes to black anything, it always seems to be attached to mediocrity or failure. When they redid the Snow White ride we got the Seven Dwarves ride. When Mr Toad went down, we got the Winnie the Pooh ride. Guardians of the Galaxy rose from the ashes of that crappy Ellen preaching thing. Most of the rides that went away were replaced by better rides. This, this ride tho, it does not look horrible, just boring and lack luster why? I feel it’s because the “imagineers” really did not have to do a damn thing at all to make this ride great. That sat back pissed most the money away at Mardi Gras, and threw together some bs with a black face, because “mommy she looks just like me” They could get pats on the back for being so “ inclusive” and the Iger propaganda would go out of it way to defend this crap, and call everyone who criticizes or vile names. What a shame. To many people will clap like seals because of that.

Wait… why is Louis not saying anything when standing with Tiana and the band?

Wow ! A kitchen. And what’s with the stretches of dark nothing? Also, as I have not watched the movie, seeing Tiana sitting there is meaningless for me . And zero build up before that first drop . . . Just nothing. I missed what the story or theme is of this ride is. Is it about cooking? Or shrinking people ? Do the people get saved from going in the gumbo ? And why the background lounge music ? It just sounded like an indistinct jumble to me. Then a drop. Hopefully it’s better in person.

They’re playing the wrong music in the section

This is the first time I have ever thought to apply the term _"beta testing"_ to a WDW park ride.

I know this ride is in previews but almost every animatronic wasn't working during your ride! At this point they really should stop the previews and concentrate on why everything isn't working properly and fix the issues. The logs' pacing is way off. Thanks for your videos!

Great work suffering for us all! Agin! But omg I don’t remember disney rides /animatronics being this bad. Break downs & weather happens sadly but…. Chuck e Cheese seems better with less costs.. lol The last few anitronics were great… why not all?

People said the WDW Laughing Place scene (before the drop) was too dark and bare, but now it is borderline pitch black and only contains two animatronics. Also, the final song sounds like the end of the Tales of the Okeefenokee song.

That ride was an ordeal to watch. It’s absolutely not ready. It’s completely feminized. Too much Madame Odie in a Tiana ride. No Prince Naveen except one appears in the end. Tiana needs her princess gown. It’s a disaster.

It's usually not that dark😅 I don't know why they didn't stop the ride if the lights weren't working. I do agree that tiana deserved a ride that told her story like EGERY OTHER PRINCESS IN EVERY PARK! Like no one asked for a story thats a year later...😢 I feel like if they can't get the mechanics under control for the ride it won't make it through the summer crowds and into the fall

Thank you for an honest review. After watching various vloggers post glowing reviews on this ride (obviously not being honest), it was refreshing to hear what you had to say. Tiana deserves a better story line than this. And Disney owes an apology to the imagineers that created Splash Mountain.

I had been thinking how great it would be great to get back to Disney and experience this ride and see what took the place of Splash Mountain. Now? Not so much. It looks "Disney-esque", but not quite what I'd hope to see. I believe Bob Iger went through this ride before it was complete and commented that it was boring. ...... Looks like Bobby boy was right. Too bad they didn't do anything to improve it before it opened. It really doesn't look like it does the movie justice.

Wasted opportunity. There was so much that could have been done that incorporated Tiana's character traits and journey. Instead, Disney made her an explorer who is on a nebulous quest to gather ... critters ... to play in a band during a poorly explained celebration. No wonder Disney is publishing a book later this year to flesh out the story. Ugh.

First time viewer, and so grateful the algorithm brought you to my attention. I get the checkered history with the source material for SM, but that describes so many of the attractions in Fantasyland as well. I had my AP preview Sunday, and Imagineering did some great things with TBA: immersive queue, exterior, new sets, and the state-of-the-art AAs (when working) were amazing. As you noted, too much dead space. The garden scene didn’t make sense to me, and neither did the story line. The concept of “finding musicians” for a party is lame. Too many screens. Why not an AA for Mama Odie before we vibe Adventure Through Inner Space and shrink to bug/frog size. There was no antagonist. And the final scene had new, non-memorable music. I’m being kind saying they took an E-Ticket attraction and turned it into a D-Ticket. Thank you for pointing out the disjointed music throughout the attraction. I’d have never caught it not being that familiar with the musical styling of NOLA.

The constant backing up of the logs...the none functioning and not fully operational animatronics are an embarrassment... The whole "shrinking" part...is moronically bad...besides making zero sense and being completely pointless...the scale of everything is WAY off...those mushrooms are bigger than that glass bottle...way bigger than the frogs? those GIANT fireflies...and that really awful screen with the 3d animated Tiana and Louis...besides looking terrible...how would they be THAT small? The whole ride is all so badly put together...but that "shrinking" part really stands out as low budget and not thought out by any real Imagineers to scale, style or story point. and that final song...is terribly forgettable and nothing special at all...completely anti climactic ending to a boring and empty dark ride

you were on call all day long for this!?! this isn't much better than a dark ride at a state fair. it's no e ticket ride, that's for sure. yeah i'm old and remember ride ticket books. i wouldn't have wasted one my precious e tickets on this ...well, to be truthful, boring log ride with no splash to even cool you off on a hot day.

Tiana's Bayou Adventure is wokism embodied in ride form. It’s vapid, boring, stupid, low quality, uninspired, unimaginative, and has a weak, uninteresting plot. The ride has substantial blank spaces and lacks quality show scenes because Disney is no longer able to create quality dark rides with animatronics and three-dimensional show scenes that don’t rely on screens to tell the story. The few animatronics are low quality despite the supposedly advanced technology used for them. The music is uninspired and terrible. The ride scene before the first big lift hill features what appears to be a plywood wall with pictures of food painted on it. I hope this is just a temporary construction wall and not a permanent show scene. Disney’s quality has declined so markedly that it’s no longer possible to discern the difference between a construction wall and what Disney considers good enough to be a permanent show scene. This ride would have been better off being based off of The Princess and the Frog movie and should have included Dr. Facilier. Tiana's Bayou Adventure is abysmal in its own right and is made even worse by the fact that it replaced Splash Mountain which was a fantastic ride that ranked among the Haunted Mansion and Pirates of the Caribbean as Disney’s best rides. Splash Mountain was not racist and did not need to be replaced. Tiana's Bayou Adventure was not a “necessary downgrade” as the Disney apologist blog, Blog Mickey, absurdly states. Downgrading Splash Mountain was unnecessary and was done to appease a woke fringe minority who is offended by everything. Disney wants to condition its park guests to accept a downgraded, lackluster park experience as normal which guests should never accept. Customers should refuse to spend money on a terrible, purposely downgraded experience. The frequent breakdowns of this ride must be part of the “necessary downgrade” of Splash Mountain to Tiana's Bayou Adventure and are symbolic of the decline of Disney.

I know they put in a new computerized block system which is supposed to keep logs from getting too close together. I think they were hoping to increase throughput and run logs closer together, but I think these are the problems they're having.

Am I the only one who finds the giant armadillos with the creepy staring eyes horribly out of place? I counted at least 3 of them and can’t imagine why they’re on the ride in the first place. They must be 4 times the size of a normal armadillo and don’t blend in with the rest of the characters at all. I know this is small potatoes compared to the rest of this slow motion train wreck but I had to get this off my chest.

No ride is worth all the waiting and hassle you had to go through. After watching the whole video, i think its got too many dark spots. There is no storey line. The outdoor areas look sparse. The music was wrong.

The worst part is that Disney removed the venting from most parts of the queue that used to provide some relief from the heat, the fans were also limited. They were forced to add those giant ugly air conditioning units to the queue.

At least you got to hear the entire ride soundtrack 😅

So disappointing and the first Lewis animetronics's mouth not working again. 🤔
