🎥Street Food in Tibet - Ultimate Tibetan Food Tour: • Street Food in Tibet -...
👕T-shirts and caps: migrationology...
Thank you to www.travelchin... for hosting me on my trip to Tibet!
SHIGATSE, TIBET - Along with Lhasa, Shigatse is one of the most important and largest cities in Tibet. We had the honor to explore Shigatse for the day, learn about the city, eating Tibetan food, and learn about the amazing Tibetan culture. #Shigatse #Tibet #food
Tibetan breakfast - There’s nothing better to eat for breakfast in Tibet than tsampa - roasted barley flour, mixed with yak cheese, yak butter, and sugar, and formed into small hand-squeezed balls. It grows like a loaf of bread in your stomach - it’s so hearty and filling. The best part of the experience was eating it in a local home and watching them as they made it for breakfast, the common way they do everyday for breakfast. The butter tea was excellent.
Tibetan food lunch - We went to a local family restaurant for lunch we we tried a number of Tibetan, and specifically Shigatse foods, including dumpling in soup, a fried bread stuffed with yak, fried sheep lungs, and Tibetan blood sausage. It was a heavy and meaty lunch, and the food was delicious.
Tashilhunpo Monastery - As the palace of the Panchen Lama (second most important spiritual figure in Tibetan Buddhism), the Tashilhunpo Monastery is one of the most sacred and important sites in Shigatse. After walking around the temple complex in the morning, we then went into the temple complex in the afternoon.
It was a great day of food, exploring, and learning in Shigatse, Tibet.
Thank you to Travel China & Tibet (www.travelchin..., they sponsored my trip to Tibet, and they did an amazing job to cater to the exact things I wanted to do. Highly recommended when you visit Tibet.

I can’t stand nasty people . and there’s plenty of negative people on RU-vid. I made a vid about an incident on RU-vid just recently. they never had a real beef besides a RU-vid beef “ in their life or if they did they looked for someone who can’t defend themselves. they didn’t know who they were messing with because I’m very unassuming because of how I look. this guy at the time had like forty thousand subs but it didn’t really help him . if ur sensitive to mean def don’t watch my vid. I mainly make vids where I cook (there not long mainly just showing the food after I’m done with the cooking part) or do strength feats like my very first upload...stuff I love. and they said “awww look how adorable “ all sarcastic 😂😂😂whoops.

18:37 it looks amazingly like donuts that we eat here and we call "sfendj" which gives in English "sponge" and in French "éponge" except that it does not accompany salty foods we eat it mostly at breakfast or afternoon tea here sheep intestine sausages are stuffed with pieces of lungs, rice, chickpeas, onions, parsley and other spices there is an identical recipe for cooking the sheep's paunch these are usually dishes of Eid el adha, a Muslim religious holiday it is extraordinary because we see a consistent cuisine in a country full of spirituality ! it's as if we were really in this beautiful and simple country at the same time! You just have to clear up your mind and take Dalai Lama out of your way! This is the only way you can be free. Be a true Buddhist, not a faked one like Dalai Lama, a political conspiracist occupied by his own ambition and dark kama. Also, stay clear of India's evil provocation for profit at the expenses of the Tibetian, look at how India stands as a country and those misery and inequality among the Indian people; the average of Indian people is way under the living of all the Chinese, spiritually and materially, a fact. Wow Tashi Lhunpo ! Mark, you have no idea how grateful Tibetans in exile are for your videos. This is the closest we will ever be to our home, Tibet. FYI (of course the tour guide has to stick to the Chinese govt. script) the 10th Panchen Lama-second highest ruler of Tibet next to the Dalai Lama-was assassinated by the Communist China and his true reincarnation appointed by the Dalai Lama was kidnapped at the age of six and his whereabout is still unknown. The present Panchen Lama you see is appointed by Chinese govt and no Tibetans believe in him. Not trying to spoil your great video, just shedding some light on historical facts. THANK YOU ! You might be aware that the Chinese authorities invaded Tibet and occupied our country in 1959 on March 10. So ever since then the Tibetans in Tibet have been prohibited cultural, religious, educational and all sorts of basic human rights. Over 160 Tibetans have also self immolated themselves on fire as a form of protest to reinstate freedom in Tibet.
