Thanks man, I appreciate your help. You are wondering why I'm thanking you? Alright, listen. One day we had a game on school with this Tic-Toe and then I was the loser who lost at 33 position. And now, it's 2018 and your video never gets old, and also you helped me reach the first place, we did twice this game and I won 200$. Thanks man!
*If you go first:* Go in the bottom right If they dont go in the middle, you win! If they go in the middle, go to the top left if they go in a corner, you win! If they go on a side, it will be a tie unless they make a mistake. *If they go first:* You will only win if they make a mistake, otherwise you tie or lose. If they go anywhere but the middle, take the middle If they take the middle, take a corner.
Shortened: First: Pick a corner Side: Pick the center after picking a corner. Then make a "V" shape Adjacent Corner: Pick the opposite corner that your opponent chose. Opposite Corner: Pick the adjacent corner that you first chose. Middle: Pick the opposing side of the corner that you first chose, then if your opponent picks an adjacent corner, u winnn :))). Second: You pick Middle: You'll most likely tie. Opponent takes Middle: Take the corner. i only wrote this down bc its 2 much 4 me 2 remember.
I tried this with my brother. Who's actually not bad at tic tac toe. I won the first eight games and then he learned how to counter it. He never won though so I call this a success (8 wins vs 0 wins)
All 3 start positions are winning/tie for first player. Center wins through simplicity rarely. Corner wins through numbers, but still simple. Edges win through complexity, but player 2 can sometimes confuse player 1 easier than corner or center scenarios
What it happens like this: Opponent start --- -x- --- Your turn --o -x- --- Opponent turn --o -x- x-- Then you have to go to a corner to tie the game, going to the sides will result in a loss
If your opponent is good at tic tac toe and starting on the corner and in the middle both fail even after both backup plans, you can start on the side and guarantee a victory if they don't go in either the same collum or row.
Isn't doing the corner strategy easier? X-- --- --- Next X-X --- --- Then X-X --- X-- Making it impossible to block all possible ways to win and, blocking the strategy only makes it a tie.
It doesn't matter what he takes if you go first and take a corner, as long as he doesn't take center. If you take a corner, and he plays on the far side, you just take the middle yourself. He's forced to block, and you'll probably be forced to block in response, but now you've got two lanes for victory in which he can only block one of. It's all right there in the video.
Bro i jus watched ur old vid and said i made some tactics myself and i watch this vid and u have same tactics😂😂😂 I mean... All it took was lil bit of testing for me and a lot of paper Not some genious thing but yeah its dope that i found same tactic..
get tabletop simulator its 22$ CND you get like thousands of board games, card games and other games including tic tac toe, there is also workshop for games that arnt in the main game
Here's a challenge for you - there's an equivalent to this game which you can play with NUMBERS. Knowing the trick (the connection between the numbers & tic tac toe) you can play this numbers game against MATHS EXPERTS and WIN - making you look like a maths genius (when really, all you're doing is beating them at tic tac toe). Have you heard of this? If not? Would you like me to post a video about it? Honestly, I've beaten people with maths degrees from university because I could always beat them and never lose against them! That'd be cool right?
Commentary out of synch with the pictures - I just gave up when my brain had a 5amp fuse blow - I think I need a soldering iron to understand this. Now I know why I don't "get" card game rules either! :-((
There's nothing to this game, but I am not disrespecting the creator either. I mean that there is really nothing to the game, and that anyone should be able to tie a tictactoe game if two able-minded people invest even a minute of their time into that.
Thing with xo is that every game is already known... Like every game is either won or lost or draw ifffff you know what you doing... In the end theres no100% win guarantee and if two good players meet draw is likely to happen always... Which is why xo is kinda.... Bad.. I love it and all but if both guys know to play.... It becomes endless draw.... Spam... Not fun Good video Peace be upon you all
+Grady Wright That thought occured to me for a sec.. but u'l see dat u can't actually mark a corner since he'll finish the game filling up the edge...hope that clears the misconception...
Starting in the middle or on the edge, are both less effective than starting in the corner. Statistically speaking, starting in the corner is the best percentage chance of success.
