Martín is a genius You can tell how emotional Tichina Arnold was about the show every time she recaps. I can relate since the Martin show brought a lot of laughter in a house filled with pain. This show saved my life!
i knew they was freestylin some of those scenes... that shit was tooo funny... lol.. for anybody thats never seen it, do urself a favor, and watch from beginning to end.. i still be in tears on most episodes today.
Proof that you might not always get what you want but it can be a blessing in disguise. Martin having a fake dog is what made it even funnier and now it's a classic episode.
I love her for the role of Pam, she did an excellent job within that character. However, my love for her grew stronger in her role as Rochelle...that show was very underrated!.....I felt she carried that show with her 5,129 recipes to break a child's back.🤭💚
@@malikastone A brazilian here can attest to this. Everybody hates chris is one of the most famous not brazilian shows here. You can reference to anyone under 40 and they will know what are you talking about and there is a channel that reprise the show to this day every sunday.
I knew it! I knew it! That was my favorite scene too. The fake dog is even funnier than the real dog. Tommy was trying so hard in that scene not to laugh but he couldn’t help it 😂😂😂😂😂
Bruuh...yes indeed...you called it...the reason I started watching both shows! Max had a stank attitude...but she was bad! *You can add Toni from Girlfriends!
Tequisa Holloway " She'll be coming 'round the mountain when she comes, my mommy told me, ruff, ruff"......" Mr.Payne have a seat" and he sits on the floor....lol
Personally my favorite episode was the one with Biggie. The whole cast was acting a fool lmao...Pam and Gina finding every excuse to sing whenever Big was around, then Cole was dancing to that jungle music and Tommy talking about "Can't touch this" lmao he thought Big was McHammer lol. That episode was Hillarious.
When Bentley Kyle Evans' gay character was hitting on Martin at the DMV, and he did that turn 😂😂😂. If you listened closely, you hear Tommy (RIP) laughing in the background (offstage)
victornewman06 If you remember the episode when they went to the island and Martin was beating the gigantic rat, you can hear Tichina laughing in the background
SHO YOU RIGHT !!!!!! I absolutely LOVE THAT SCENE. "Whats happenin ALMOND BROWN. YOU SO ALMONDY". I WROTE SONG ABOUT YOU" !!!!!! And you're right. You CAN hear Tommy laughing in the in background.
Rick Ross witchya lil almondy self look at ya...i might as well call you almond joy! Yous a small piece of leatha, but you so well put together! Call me Almond!!
Yes thank you she was hilarious like she played Martin spot on it was such an underrated episode I was waiting for somebody to mention it it's one of my favorite episodes it shows you how funny and talented she really is
Absolutely LOVE this interview!! Both of my Sisters completely represented Black women in the best manner. Their characters were educated, fun, smart, caring, soulful and business minded. They had a Wonderful display of Sisterhood regardless of our light skin/brown skin social ills. They showed us how to overcome that through friendship and looking out for each other.
I like the episode when martin says pam needs to be like martin mar. Then all hell breaks loose at art museum at the clap of anyones hands plus pam go into it with a 8yr old over a toy in dentist office .lol
Glad I stayed... Tichina CARRIES an interview. Love that woman. I am so pleased that she made this interview far more than expected. What range she covered in a small timeframe. Very well done, T; I received a gem or two!❣️💜
Yea I love that new Jack episode, but my favorite was the one where Pam was hypnotized and acting like Martin was hilarious! It really showed Pam's comedic acting ability, she was able to pick up on Martin's mannerisms to PERFECTION! Really genius
This is sooooo awesome. Tichina is such a good interviewee. Martin is my all time favorite comedy show. I bought all 5 seasons. I can't even begin to count how many times I've watched it since I was a kid. It's such a time capsule. My 16 year cousin born in 2005 cracks up while watching it. That's a testament to its originality.
Fav episode with her and Martin the stuck in woods The dreams he was sleeping with her When her cousin broke out When she became Martin they switched places When she was marrying the prince or dating him best episodes ever 😍😍😍😂
I always pay attention to Pam faces when she and Martin going back and forth. You can literally see her trying to hold in the laughs. Martin too. Beautiful things.
Greatest sitcom ever, period. I would love to know who was laughing during the episode when Martin thought Gina was cheating and he was kicking Luis Ramos, "the repairman" out of the hotel room, but someone had inadvertently locked the door. Martin's and Luis' improv is still the funniest moment in the show, especially because of the hysterical laugh of that audience member.
that was a nice interview true Martin fan loved the entire Martin cast one of the greatest comedic shows ever .,... sometimes very hard to separate the actors character from the actors true personality but that's what great actors can do ...no matter what happen on that set when the cameras were not rolling I will always believe that once upon a time they all truly liked each other .....
Tichina Arnold did a great job breaking down and explaining the comedic dynamics of the show! She speaks with such concise, clarity, and was easy to understand.
Martin was the 1st show that literally mad me cry, snot at the nose and almost have a brain aneurysm every time I'd watch. And til this day it does the same even when i know every single episode by heart. And that my friends is what you would call "LEGENDARY" no other show ever has that kind of humour in it, at least not for me. RIP Tommy
I never got the sense of a color rival. This is absurd. That show represented every shade and socioeconomic level of black people and it was on primetime! Think about it interviewer
Tichina is so underrated as a comedic actor. She was always impressive and always on time with her jokes. She has been the funniest female on 2 different shows yet people forget about her when rating female actresses. I grew up learning comebacks and attacks from her. She is truly a great one in the realm of comedy.
Tichina is sooo beautiful! She's such a great actress! I want to see so much more of her. Martin lives on forever. Still watching today. Especially, Shinaeneh
Go 'head Tichina! Excellent interview. Y''all were and still so talented. Back when I was in High School, after every episode, we would just laugh at break, and try to mimic each sketch.
Exactly, but you know how it is. The lightskin/darkskin competition minimizes anything that happens toward lightskin individuals. I just loved the show for what it was and what they all brought to the screen. #RentEmSpoons
