My question is how hard is it to actually get the tickets? The big brokers and there bots can clean out an entire event with mns. And what ever is left over that they dont snatch up now you gotta complete with thousands of other ppl trying to buy and flip tickets. If you send out an alert to 1000 ppl like lol what are the actual chances of getting tickets and scaling up?

Anyway i was looking on google about the legality of this business, and it says that ticket scalping is forbidden in a lot of states (talking about big states like California) in Usa, and allowed in others with restriction (like 10-20% higher price than the original price). Hello, There are certain restrictions, and you need to file taxes on your gains with ticket brokering. A ticket is personal property which is legally allowed to be resold by federal law. I would talk to a lawyer or accountant to verify for your local area.

A family member has made the mistake of buying a large amount of tickets that were not for resale on 3rd party sites from a well known ticket vendor, who must have realised what they were doing and have made it so my family member can’t share their digital tickets with the customers that bought them. This means that not only has my family member lost the money from the tickets they bought, but also they’re facing stub hub refunds and charges for the tickets that fell through. The ticketing company are saying my family member can still go to the venue and get in with their credit card (as if they were personal tickets), but obviously that isn’t it much use as the gigs are all across the country.
