I was with a group of friends when a woman, who had earlier that night declared her dislike for men and identified as a lesbian, pushed me against a wall and attempted to kiss me while groping me. Imagine my shock. To make matters more awkward, my wife walked ahead with friends and didn’t notice. I pushed the woman away and dismissed the incident, knowing she was intoxicated. Years later, when the Me Too movement gained prominence, I saw this same woman posting about how men are abusers and sharing her own experiences of being abused. I could have exposed her hypocrisy, but I chose to laugh it off and move on. It’s ironic how some individuals claim victimhood while denying their own agency in certain situations. Am I a victim? Perhaps, but would anyone care if I spoke up? I’m aware that some women have made allegations for far less than what I experienced. Moreover, there’s a stigma attached to men who are abused by women, with the prevailing belief being that we either desired it because we’re men or that we were in a position of power. It’s important to acknowledge that not all women fabricate stories of abuse. It’s disheartening for the women who are genuine victims of sexual assault-as well as for the men who take it to their graves-when others attempt to tarnish men’s reputations over trivial matters. Although I remain anonymous here, I suppose this is my own Me Too moment.

I've been working as a certified nursing assistant since I was 18. I'm 50 now and male patients will still inappropriately touch me. I will get inappropriate comments from either them or male family members trying to get fresh with me. Imagine this for over 30 years! Also, I had my first inappropriate touch at 14 by a 25 year old man. He was allowed to continue this behavior by stalking me. Before turning 18 I had two daughters by him. The only way I got away from him was by moving with my father in another state. What I learned a long time ago, is that black girls are not protected and frequently shamed for having babies out of wedlock and black men are allowed to get away with wrong doing. 😔 When this girl said she just turned 18 years old I will admit I was like 😒? She might not be as worldly as a 21 year old (which I still consider as very young) but she's old enough to understand who, what, when, where, and most importantly WHY she was in her surroundings. That's the difference between my victimhood and hers. I didn't know or understand my situation. To this day I cannot give such a thorough detailed description like she did of my first encounter with my kids father.😮 She's trying to play dumb! It's not working for me! As someone who's been both falsely accused of SA and actually assaulted, this is by far the most disrespectful false allegation I've ever seen. The fact that topics like "sexual assault" and "grooming" are being brought up in a situation where two adults were drinking (one of which illegally) and the extent of physical contact was cuddling and tickling is the biggest slap in the face to actual victims. Something happened to me too, but I was ten at the time and it wasn't just tickling. I only understood it was very confusing and like emotionally being ripped apart. After all my therapy I am still protecting the other individual involved, because what if I am wrong and it wasn't such a bad thing after all? The responsibility of this determination is such a weight. And then you have these people.

I was freshly six when it happened. I sat upon my multicolored rug, pushing around my hot wheels. When suddenly I heard them chanting "we're gonna get you" it all happened so fast, before I knew it I was on the couch begging for air. They wouldn't stop until no air was left and they succeeded. I haven't called them my parents since that day.

My memory falls off at one point in the night. It's crazy that she can retell this point for point like narrative fiction, because traumatic memory + alcohol doesn't work that way.
