@@ItsTiazzz He's really the Godfather of Minecraft LP's. He has a 600+ episode series. Ep 101 was a new world as thats when Minecraft came out of beta and still making episodes in his amazing world. He is a chilled Canadian who is credited with many Redstone inventions, hilariously funny and heartwarming. Oh and also a Hermit though his dad died this season so he doesnt have many episodes this season.

We have apple dumplings. It's a cored, peeled apple with the spices you named, wrapped in a pie-type pastry, and baked. We crack them open and serve them warm with a cinnamon -sugar-butter syrup. Some eat them with a bit of milk. Delicious!

My mum is from New Zealand but I've grown up with her making a similar dish, but I don't think she used sugar and sometimes she would add vanilla ice cream. Roasted apples are amazing

There's also 'Apple Sauce' which I think is widely available in North America & Europe.. which is made from cooking apples. 😅

We have the same thing in Spain, personally i dont like it, but its not bad

Here in Germany we also make apple pancakes (just adding apple pieces into slightly thicker pancake batter before frying).

I thought applesauce was just mashed apples

@@austindreemurr922 Apples are a bit too hard to just simply mash effectively, you could do it but it's require a lot of force and would be grainy. Cooking the apples softens them, mellows out their acidity, and depending how long you cook them for enhances their sweetness.

In Australia we have the Granny Smith apple which is amazing for baking. It's a green skinned apple which is quite tart (which is preferable for dessert apples) and holds its shape so well when cooked. It's also great raw in salads or with cheese.

@@realityveil6151 they’re supposed to be sweet. Cinnamon alone doesn’t do the trick. And the lemon adds flavor, along with the acidity.

you understand that there are different kinds of sugars, right? That they all have different flavors? Sometimes recipes have a couple of different types of sugar! All fruit has sugar, but find me a single pie recipe that doesn’t include additional sugar of some kind. Cooking is about pushing and pulling different flavors with different ingredients. My recipe is exactly what they do with apple pie; it has the brown sugar flavor while also having the tartness of the lemon and apple. But literally every recipe has this push and pull. Why do people on the internet have to be so loud about things they clearly know nothing about 🙄
