Today we're testing out power of the Scattershot ability! We'll be taking the 20mm to new levels.

Forts is a physics-based RTS where foes design and build custom bases, arm them to the teeth and blast their opponent's creations to rubble.
Build an armoured fort in real-time and arm it to the teeth. Collect resources, develop your tech-tree, unlock advanced weapons to target your opponent's weak points, and feel the satisfaction as their fort comes crashing down.

At the end of round 1, that guy already gave up, he didnt rebuild his roof, he build that random stuff on that hill but he just didn't rebuild the roof which was so effective against the mortars... I wonder why...

Once upon a time when level 2 mortars were the most OP weapon, many jokes were had about how to make mortars more powerful. Then someone flipped a cannon on its side giving it a mortar trajectory... So the tier 3 mortar was born.

To add why it's kinda like a T3 mortar, while mortar shots can be shot down, cannon's cannot, so this is like an "upgrade"

Nice one. Next challenge : building a double base, 2 bases on top of each other without connections. It's great for defence but I think you can push this further.

Yes. But the most evil laugh was in one of the Showcase Video's, of the "Superlaser"/Upgraded Laser(from Tanya's Mod), right after he „one-shot, one-kill“ kills the opponent. And with that kinda laugh, I'm 100% sure that, Incursus would be a amazing Villain. Almost too amazing...

Thinking about this base and your problems with turbines... Would putting a portal in front linked to a portal behind turbines create 100% efficiency even inside your base due to creating a, technically, a wind tunnel outside of your base.

Forgive me for ignorance as I don't have this game. If you lower the arc on any vertical shot cannon, wouldn't it become more accurate due to the lower arcs varianc/spread? Shoot high = big spread Shoot low = less spread

I believe its a much better strategy to fire all tier 4 cannons at once as it doesn't cause unpredictable oscillation.

Something I haven't seen on your videos. You have swung weapons and swung cores but no sangbag armors... Make a box with them then turn to the side. I am wondering how good that would be for defense?

It's been a little while since I played Forts, but doesn't clicking back nearer to the cannon make it fire a reduced speed shot? Couldn't you just default build, fire high angle/low power, and arc it faster and more accurately than doing trans orbital shots?

Just bought Forts on Steam But it's really slow and laggy and likes to crash when loading levels. My laptop can handle SC2, OW and DS3 just fine and I set the graphics to 25fps and the regular 1920x1080 Any advice? I'd like to give it an earnest try. It looks fun.

that way to move the core XD...... suddenly made me think hmmm :)...take the base concept of this game ,it doess remind of..anyone that played t he 'battleships' mood game mood for sc2 aka structures turned into carious hardware you equip your capital ship with etc...this game ,and instead of forts ,its capital ships circling each other over a resource field..sending down pods t oharvest it to make emergency on sight uppgrades of ther hardware and secure the fields XD

if you always need to re-enforce the bottom front part of the base on this map due to weight, why dont you do it before its so close to breaking?

He did and it's not close to breaking at all that's what all the extra reinforcements are for to make sure it does not collapse but you still have to repair it and rebuild it as it's destroyed

I just started the game and have been playing campaign. I feel like I'm struggling bad and just not understanding something simple that's stopping me from having the confidence to play multiplayer. Do you have any guides on how to play for a beginner? I know you use a lot of hot keys but I dont know any. Any help is appreciated!

MeetTheMeatloaf I bought the game recently myself and had a bit of trouble in the later portions of the campaign (mostly because my aiming's terrible). i think the biggest thing is to just take it slow in the campaign, get used to building and figure out which weapons you like to use. By the time you've finished the campaign you should be pretty competent

Tier=upgrade levels, tier 1 is the base mortar, tier 2 is the upgraded mortar and tier 3 is a cannon on its side (an upgrade to the upgraded mortar)

Ordinary Knife I have literally no idea how to play this game, but if you have an anti grav core or two then I’m sure it’ll float away. Not sure if it will blow up when it hits the top of the screen

Why do these people you play against not rebuild defenses? Even someone who has played for 10 minutes should be able to do that much. It takes like 2 seconds to drag out some fg bracing and protect your core at least a little bit.
