What kind of person would own a kick-ass orbital weapons satelite? Extremely wealthy? very intelligent? a super villain? Notice how none of that fits Barret? So what kind of 'orbital weapons satelite' you'd expect from him anyway?
Well, the way the game calculates damage is based on a character's strength rating, so by the game's reasoning Barret's "strength" has quite a lot to do with how effective an orbital strike is. What I want to know is how Barret got himself a satellite in the first place.
+shakaama *licks lips and picks a cheeto from double chin neckbeard and eats it while cracking fingers with a weeaboo kabuki high brow rise.* Ahem, you must mean Aerith.
+Darkman AKA The Hunter If we are talking about Tifa in movies...and a certain Death battle...yes...if we are talking about the game itself...No. Aerith is pretty bad though....sadly
But of course, now if we assume he only takes 1 damage per strike, and he deals 52 per turn. With the amount of turns being similar to the amount of hp he has, being 5465. He could deal 284180 or so within his one life, assuming he can attack each of those turns.
***** Who said that being the new generation means we can't appreciate the classics? (*Disclaimer*: Meant that in a friendly way. Not trying to be hostile.)
***** Well it's not even really Sephiroth in that scene, at that point he was still encased in crystal. But generally speaking it's true of course, the story telling wasn't without flaws (I've never seen any perfect story telling anywhere) and the atrocious translation certainly didn't help. Still a great game though, spended hours farming at the sunken airplane maxing stats.
***** Eh, just some stupid people on the internet who parrot "kids these days don't understand (insert thing here)" everywhere they go. I'm glad to see they're a minority. :)
@@jamesgravil9162 Yup, their ultimate weapons allow for increased damage, vincent's is based on how many enemies he's killed, and Barret's is based on how much AP on his materia. Basically what will happen is they do so much damage, the game can't calculate the number and the integer overflows into the negative. If you want to try it, I recommend doing Barret's instead of Vincent's. Barret's is actually possible to do and only takes about a day of grinding, and it's how I killed Ruby Weapon.
Sam Allen It's actualy Ultima Weapon from FFVII. But since both are supposed to be Dark dragons or at least entities of pure power, it makes sense that they would look alike.
Vincent got a game because he was the only one more Emo than Cloud and that was the 'cool' thing at the time. And yes I know it was really because his back story wasn't fleshed out in the original and his gun allowed them to make a shooter.
i would really like this, could explain the begging of Shinra's rise to power from a common folks perceptive, give us the details of Barret's gun arm and adoption of Marlene.
Barrett is actually one of the best characters in the remake simply because he is impossible to kill and rapidly deals without elemental weakness once you put an elemental materia on him. He is incredibly safe and the best way to wittle down bossed like Bahamut
drizzitdude Oh, on Hard difficulty in Remake, Barret is very killable. But yeah, his range makes him extremely invaluable, especially in battles against enemies like Leviathan. Once Leviathan starts floating around the battlefield, Barret and Aerith are your only options on hitting him unless you want to blow all your magic or wait for him to come in close for Cloud and Tifa so they can smack him around for those couple of seconds.
Which ends up being more useful than other members ib specific fights. People even use barret in the hardest fight in the remake. I swear barret gets so much shit.
Well excluding comedy..Barrets final weapon does more damage the more Mastered materia he has. well..the more ap the materia have..but mastered ones have the most.
With FF7 remake in full swing, imagine what the remastered version of fighting Ultima WEAPON will be like. (also please remember to develop your characters. Barret's embarrassing moment is evident of that)
this is picking on the times when barret.....hits for shit, in bosses. its rare but it doesn't make sense either. I'm surprised they didn't make for when he misses. x3
Don Brinson I don't know, I'm no Dragon Ball z expert, but from what I've seen, Mr. Satan didn't seem like a person going after a guy with a machine gun arm.
Barrett: uh it must be the muscle I pulled last week... Cloud: you pulled a muscle last week??!! Barrett: uh huh?? Cloud: you pulled a muscle last week... Haha that part made me laugh so hard I choked out blood... LITERALLY
kaboom Golden Sun is not as popular of a franchise because it is made by a smaller company. If both games started out as semi-popular releases than I guarantee you that Golden Sun would be on top.
I thoguht the quality of the Dorkly short had suddenly dropped slightly, but this was released in 2012? I'm actually more impressed with how timeless the Dorkly channel's content seems to be.
