Tiff Needell reflects on his short but memorable Formula 1 career 

Tiff Needell only entered two Formula 1 Grands Prix, both of those during the 1980 season. He started the Belgian Grand Prix at Zolder and narrowly missed out on qualifying for the Monaco Grand Prix two weeks later.
While his Zolder race ended after 12 laps due to engine failure, Tiff was able to prove his worth that weekend by out-qualifying two-time World Champion Emerson Fittipaldi. Despite not making the cut at Monaco, he rates driving an F1 car around that historic street circuit as one of the greatest experiences of his life.
