It would be the district attorney that brings charges. Not the AG. And they take time. With this much press, she will get an indictment. But it may be a few months.

The mayor changed the salary of the next mayor elected to 25k a year but gave herself a salary of almost 200k a year as acting mayor. She was trying to prevent anyone from ever running against her
She needs to be totally stripped of her assets- and the money given back to the communities she stole from. She needs a 40 year prison sentence, with no parole until at least 20 years. Anyone she hired needs to be immediately fired.

Tiffany changed the locks at city hall again? Trustees must go to court first thing in the AM and get an immediate injunction. Call a locksmith and have them meet you at City Hall so that trustees and other elected officials can get into the building and village business can be conducted.

Yep! I've been watching Dolton's live stream town meetings and it was always a shouting match. Henyard is a piece of work. She blatantly retaliated against businesses, residents, and people she once played nice with. After watching many videos of town meetings and news chippings, I've come to the conclusion that you can't ask Henyard anything, if you're not kissing her ass, saying nice nice, playing nice nice, then you are ostracized. Dolton is by far a rich city so people that are against her will continue to act like they're for her so they won't feel her wrath or loss the money they're making. I think the point of enough is enough is when the firefighters of Dolton started questing why their pension money is missing. The FFs weren't getting any one to answer their questions on the phone so they all showed up at a town meeting but, of course, Henyard didn't answer. I have a soft spot for all firefighters and that just made me angry that their questions were ignored.

My question is why didn’t the state step in years ago. These cities are supposed to provide their financial records every year and the last financial report Dalton provided was in 2021. The moment the mayor locked the trustees out of the records the state of Illinois should have stepped in.

The city of Dalton should make allll the police department pay back the money they stole for lying about the over time they got frm work they didn’t do. It was money they got from Tiffany Henyard for her personal bodyguards, it had nothing to do with protecting the city.
My guess is that many of the people complaining about their leadership voted her in simply because she checked two boxes. Then they hired Beetlejuice to investigate . They all deserve what they got
