Oh my, your Agnete Cardigan is STUNNING 🔥 33:30 That little bobbin is a reinforcement thread: you (can) hold it together with the sock yarn when knitting heels and toes and it’s meant to make them stronger (less likely to form holes with wear)
I think on the Agnete cardigan, the row gauge on the button band and bottom ribbing would each be a different gauge whereas the button band and the brioche on the main body would be the same row gauge. I'm curious if you measure are they different gauges? That's the only reason I can think of that the button band would be picked up for the bottom.
Petite knit all the way! I love that you love Mette’s designs too! You have great style , thanks for sharing, I favourited a new designer from your podcast a few episodes back.
I would definitely make myself an Elisabeth blouse in light grey, that looks so perfect! Also, Lyon is pronounced like Lee-on. It’s a City in France, so think French pronunciation ☺️
I love Opal! Mine was a sort of rustic yarn but soft? It just felt like it had to texture without being scratchy. Which I appreciated for sock knitting. Also I had a self striping one which I really loved but I agree the price is high for socks. I did find that I could make two pairs of socks from one skein. 😊
Tiffany, already start missing your streams, but waiting for your Europe-news! This bobbin inside jawoll yarn is for strengthening the heel area or mending
For the Noro with paper, you could probably starch it! I know we don't starch things much these days anymore but it's still something you can do pretty easily. :)
The reason you knit the last part of the button band separately for the Agnete Cardigan is because brioche and double knitting are worked twice per row, so it makes sense to do it together. Once you get onto the k1p1 rib, you are only working each row once, so it wouldn't be possible to do the double knitting band at the same time. Don't give your viewers false information that they can just continue with the button band. It wouldn't work.
I'm an opal girlie! I'm excited for you to try it. the only complaint I have with it is it comes out a bit big so now when I knit from it I'm going to lower my stitch count. great yarn tho and I only reach for my socks made with it (but I also haven't used very many sock yarns tho)
You could do an abandoned WIP KAL with your whole community and then the pattern one with your patrons. I assume the KAL is with your patrons? I'm finishing my abandoned WIPs personally (because I can't afford more yarn rn LOL) and hopefully that will last me the summer, and then I might make my own sweater pattern?!?! 👀
Hey Tiffany 👋 I love your channel ❤ I've just knit the salty days sweater by kutova kika it's an amazing pattern so fun to knit and omg the sweater is sooo nice and soft I just love it! Highly recommend 🎉
