Glad I'm not the only one that gets the occasional shakes! Normally I'm steady as a rock, but every once in a while I get shaky. Sometimes I just have to stop and do something else for a while. Nice video.

The sound quality of these tutorial videos just gets better and better. I noticed the peddle squeak before you commented and found I did not have to watch the screen in screen as much to get the peddle timing...The focus required to weld like this can not be overstated. Glad to see you are making comments while welding...

Perfect tutorial! After this video I learned clearly the secret ( the technique ) how can we make different coloured weldings. I only need practice, practice and practice.... Thank you very much! I wish you "Happy new year" from Hungary... :-) 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🥂🥂🥂🥂🥂🥂

Dude! You're legit! I only came across your video because I was curious about pulse settings (I usually pulse with my pedal) but after seeing what you do, I'll definitely subscribe. Cool to see how people do things outside of your typical industry work. And I also appreciate that you rely on your own pedal instead of inverter machine settings. Great work, man!

Dusty, I thank you very much for your videos. I have, for lack of practice, due to my lack of free time, regressed on the quality of my weld. Lately I did a work that was long overdue and I was very frustrated with the result. Ok it was galvanized square tubing, but even so on the fillet joints the result was terrible. I was trying to use the pulse on the machine, but after this video I will try to use my footpedal. I'm not much of practice welding, I'm more of a 'something to be done' welding. But in this case I'll do some tries. But I thank you very much not only for the explanation, but for the sincerity that we have to overcome our own limitations and try it again. I'm an engineer, DIY person, and I live in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.

Thanks for sharing, very interesting. I noticed the squeaking noise on one of your other vids and was like wtf is that squeak.. then I twigged it must be from the pedal with the on and off motion . lol

Really cool how you showed the foot peddle technique at the same time, I haven't upgraded to a foot peddle yet, would it work to pulse just on the torch button that I use, I'm not sure if that's a stupid question 😂🤷‍♂️. But hat of to you dusty, mad skills my friend 👌🔥

Have you thought about doing a fish design? I think the tig welds would look very cool as fish scales. Just an idea.

Dusty, how do deal with sugaring on the backside...or not an issue? You are indeed an artist!
@PacificArcTigWelding
@PacificArcTigWelding 4 года назад
Honestly not much of an issue. I need my art side clean, and thats the side I focus on. The backside isn’t too bad as the chill plate helps to keep it from getting too hot. Then the frame usually covers it..! Thanks so much for the kind words! Cheers my friend!

Great Vid ! Do you ever produce art on regular old hot rolled mild steel plate (S275). Would be interesting to see how your technique deals with that rather than your normal choice of Ally or Stainless.
