This one is a special tree, to me. Definitely in my top 10 favorite trees! We go way back, and that was probably detrimental to his health, at first. I've made mistakes, so you don't have to. If you have one of these extremely beautiful, fairly easy to care for & popular trees or plan on getting one sometime in the future be sure to watch this video so you can learn how to keep your tree happy and thriving. Plant Prudently guys!

Nice!! I always make a huge mess repotting plants. I need to rearrange mine and get the lights set up for winter indoors soon.

have ever got figs grow on it? been growing them and benjamina for 25 years and this summer i got a few bonsail that produced few proto fruits, in québec, we dont have the fig wasp so it didnt fruit completly, but got mini figs on them! now im growing them in a tent with my nepenthes for about a month and they will probably stay there year round, but i use to get them out in summer time and get them back in after 1 night at -2, -3c, so yeah they can tolerate clod...lol! dont cut dead branch, wait till the tree scars under the dead wood, then just toutch it and it fall cleanly and easylly, it look way better that way than having bits of cutted branch left... for the roots, i never repot mine exept if i want to change the root configuration or something, i just put more soil in the pot under the root ball and let and or do erosion by hand or water remove the top layer so the roots get longer and bigger, now in the tent, it has over 90% humidity, i even have root growing out upper branch! they are about 25y.o. and awsomes, but in a few years of so many aerial roots will be magnicicent!!!

I do have a question, I do bring mine in for the winter and keep them inside until spring. do you think that’s a bad idea? Mine are doing well but they did not like the colder weather and I was getting black spots on some leaves. Never seen that until temps went below 50. I also have mine outside in the summer, I’m in Arizona and they have done really well. They seem to actually like the 100 degree heat and grow insane
