Quick tip to every tiger player, use Pzgr. rather than Pzgr39. This is due to the fact Pzgr. has enough explosive mass to overpressure (one shot everything regardless). This trade off comes with slightly lower penetration (but not too significant, however I would recommend taking a few Pzgr39 rounds for extra penetration. And remember, always angle.
Consider using the other APHE on the Tigers (Pzgr). Bit less flat pen but it'll overpressure pretty much everything. Even Jumbo's if you shoot the gun mantlet

The second AP round for the Tiger 1 / Tiger E, aka PzGr. has enough filler to overpressure, so I don't take any dedicated HE rounds myself. Sure, you lose a little pen, but nothing proper aiming can't (usually) fix. PS: Idk if gaijin nerfed the shell after I left, cause I have not played this game in at least 6 months, so I'm sorry if my information is outdated.

I am the one playing Tiger (H1 is my fav one and despite being 5.7 now, I still play with it in my 6.0 lineup) and forgetting that my copula is a weak spot cause of people's not shooting it from whatever reason or that I literally won't let them by being quicker in destroying them
@@jeffjustleft3360 most engagements are like that. Problem is, a vehicle with rather anemic mobility and very slow turret traverse is gonna be disadvantaged. I would personally take a sherman firefly to 5.7 over the tiger.
I was looking so forward to the H1, Tiger I was a blast in WOT - couldn't make the angles work, always sniped from six kilometres over an unprotected flank, and shells just wouldn't penetrate! Glacis and turret faces just eating rounds constantly. You're making me think I should try again Malz, don't give me silly ideas like this.
German users who ride such strong tanks and can't utilize their potential at all have no combat skills at all. If you need a slight bit of depression, you can t angle due to the smoke launcher on the hull. They weren t there but gaijin added them to nerf it. On most historical pictures tiger h do not have it. From africa to normandie it is absent, only a few pictures on the eastern front. Tiger e didn t seems to have them at all. Gaijin should remove them and just put them as researchable modification.
