Kikuchi Haruka, the Trombone player, is one of the all time greats, we all know Tamura Makiko the Clarinet player, she is well known in New Orleans, and so is Kikuchi Haruka.~USA
At times in my life have despaired that when I sooner than later leave earth that the hot Jass I loved all my life would fade out. Now see that there are another generation of younger musicians this music will live on . Back in college days in the 1960s had a college friend from Osaka Japan....Makato Jusita(sp). He loved the hot jazz of New Orleans and Chicago as did I. Know he is well. His Judo will have served him to our old age . Good to see foreigners serving up this music but in the land of Jass there are no foreigners!!
It is so wonderful to finally find somebody who knows who to play this song right. It was the fight song at 2 of the high schools I attended in Georgia, back in the 1950's. This is pretty close to how I remember it. Thanks for posting this. Ed
