I am wanting to do this for one of my first dives ever after I get my Padi Certification, would you think it’s fine? Also how do you descend to the bottom swiftly and what do you do if they are swimming directly at you? Like do you just push it away?
Hi Ryan. Most shark dives require advance cert or couple of dives under their belt. Being said, you need to be comfortable in the water specially with sharks around. However, this is within 60 feet and stationary. We descended normally. They provided a stick to block the sharks from coming straight at us, to keep distance and to hold our ground and not be drifted by the current. I only use it to stay still. Some companies might take you, it won’t hurt to ask.
