Wow young Tiger had a great perspective and calmness about him... no wonder he won early then went on to dominate

Early 1995, at the Mercedes Tournament for champions of the past year, I remember one Tour winner was asked by an ESPN reporter, _”What will define a good year for you in 1995?”_ He said, of course, he’d love to win. But if he could get a few top 10’s and a handful of top 25’s, he’d consider it a good year. Tiger showed up and tore up the rule book one what a “good season” was. And notice, the PGA Tour doesn’t even mention “Top 25’s” and rarely “Top 10’s” anymore. That’s because of Tiger Woods dominance. Curtis, even as a 2-time US Open champ, still had that antiquated thought pattern then. But, HE learned… 😏

“I think it’s going to do a lot. By winning this Tournament I think it’s gonna get a lot of kids in this game” 7:43. He never mentioned people of color and didn’t need too. Most of today’s golfers grew up watching Tiger Woods dominate and wanting to be him. What a great role model.

So Tiger what if I told you that your entire life is gonna be a roller of controversy, multiple career ending injuries, you'll revolutionize the game to the millionth degree, have your very own Nike clothing brand, a world wide foundation that helps countless children and families. nearly having doctors amputate your right leg also be more recognizable than Mickey Mouse? I forgot to mention that not only will you have greatest most winning record ever but you'll also be considered one of the greatest athlete ever, period?! Oh and your a Billionaire. would you believe me? Answer? yes
