Can you imagine playing against someone who could putt so good. Hits an absolute shank off the tee, then hits a 9 iron to 12 feet and drops it every time. Must be so frustrating to play against

I was at this tournament. I was only 12 years old, and got to see Tiger up close walking up to the first tee on Sunday. I had the courage to say “Go Tiger!” as loud as I could. Let me tell you something: Tiger stared through my soul. It freaked me out but all those years later, I realized he just was focused on getting the win. Which of course, he did.

I was there for his last round. When he threw his ball it went right over my head. His practice round that week was with Michael Jordan. It was really cool to follow them.

i saw him at firestone 2015 and he hit into the tree way right on i think hole 5 or 6. he walked in from the angle we were, and he walked right past us on his way to the ball in the tree.. I swear his aura was something else...... i guess it was the focus..

Joseph Greenwall-Cohen I agree with that, currently has has less speed but it’s so on plane. What he can’t do now is drive it poorly on long golf courses like at Riveria this year. I have no idea what he was trying to accomplish with foley, seeing the torque it was putting on his back and taking away shot shaping.

PGA Tour - please respect your own history by using the actual names of past tournaments. TW never won the Wells Fargo Championship. This was the 2007 Wachovia Championship.

I attended this tourney for many years - including this year. Why does the PGA change the name? This was the Wachovia at the time. Unfortunately, Wachovia died as an institution shortly afterwards, but still.
