Caddies can be an asset to players, but let’s be clear. They are like a Jockey, and if you ride Secretariat or Mr. Ed, who you think wins? There is a reason why super caddies only work for super players, thus pad their resume. Let these guys work for a lower level player, whose 125 on money list, and see how they preform.
I think Williams was upset. He was put into fame by Tiger like no other caddy has and he didnt want it to end. Caddy's have never seeked stardom like Steve Williams has. He couldnt handle that Tiger did it before him and then after him
Bullshit. Steve has high morals and didn’t like tiger's deception. You forget Steve was Greg Norman’s caddy, who was the number one golfer for almost a decade.
Jack and others may have had better morals as far as we know, but Tiger is 3 majors short of being the best by every golf metric. Jack won 18 majors out 164 entered; Tiger 15 out of 82 entered. Tiger has won over 18% of majors entered; Jack 11%. Jack wins the fidelity prize though.
Likely impossible to overtake Jack now and thus, he'll never be the undisputed clear cut GOAT. That remains for Jack probably for the ages. Too bad something inside Tiger isn't 100% which is not an uncommon affliction.
Do you not see the major flaw in your logic? How many of Jack's 164 majors played was he well past his prime? The last 60 or so of Jack's majors he played were when he was a senior player.

+Thomas Bryant There's a large number of reasons, the most prolific reason perhaps being that you are putting really high strain on your body at really high speeds. It's kind of like pitchers in baseball or QB's in football. It's just massive strain on the joints and whatnot.
