My Dad golfed for EVERY birthday (went to course to play cards, if it rained with lightening), and spent every Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday, and Sunday throughout the entire summer. If there was no snow on the ground, he was at the golf club. My Mom was a golf widow, and raised all 9 of us without him😮 I do not blame his daughter AT ALL❤

Tiger and I are the same age and our children are also. I remember back when he was having trouble in his marriage so clearly because I also was going through the same. This morning , as I received messages from my beautiful children ,I also saw this post, and it brought tears to my eyes. His children like mine are so big now. Added confirmation that even though our Marriages failed our Children still thrive. When I look back to that time, how uncertain I was about everything,all the regrets and shame . I now realize that if all that, brought us to this , to this beautiful present we now find ourselves in, then every moment no matter how hard or regretful at the time was a wonderful irreplaceable Gift. , I now realize that every moment

Imagine your dad being Tiger Woods, and your son listens to almost all your golf related coaching but still gives "a little push back." Lol. Gotta love being a teenager.

That's why Sir Charles 90s commercial *"I Am Not A Role Model"* was created. His whole message was to NOT get caught up in, us, athletes so much to where you "idolized" us because "WE ARE HUMAN." I remember there was a time to where black kids wanted to be a golfer. I saw a kid at Walmart and his dad got a football and threw it to him and he didn't catch it. His dad said "you want this one or another color?" and he said "I want this" and he picked up a "play play" golf set and said "I'm going to be like Tiger!" When all that happened, everything changed for black kids. There was a outreach program that we had because it was a massive surge of black kids who wanted to learn how to play golf and it was huge!! After Tiger's scandel, kids stop enrolling and the program failed and eventually, it was shutdown. No one was looking to learn how to play golf. Why? because the "idol" was "flawed" and those flaws was exposed and the kids was let down, an expression that their parents felt that passed itself to them. Sir Charles entire message was to *"idolize your parents message to stay and do good in school so you can be great at whatever you want to be great at"* because people will let you down.

This was a great interview. For those of you that don't know, Carson and Tiger have been friends since they were teenagers. I didn't know that until I watched this interview.

I can tell the he talks he’s loving dad and he doesn’t try to force anything on his kids on what they wanna do in life like what his daughter he’s interested in what she’s interested in and his son he loves golf but he doesn’t bully him and let him find his way. That’s a good dad.
