This was Scott's plan .... I don't think he "planned" on it happening like it has for the past 2 months and now playoff bound, but props to him for bringing these kids up after the trade deadline. I just hope that regardless of what happens in the playoffs that he and Chris will give this team what they need in the off season. GO TIGERS!!!

I was skeptical and wanted him to trade Skubal at the deadline. Kudos to Harris for not taking the bait and keeping him. Plus, getting Sweeney for Flaherty was probably the turning point for this team. Sweeney filled that SS hole nicely and made this offense and defense deeper and more well rounded.

Yeah he dumped Flaherty at the trade deadline, and he would be awesome to have now going into the playoffs. Paint me as a “vision” skeptic, he’s taking advantage of great play by the players. He’s taking more credit than he deserves, but that’s how management works.

If not for the Flaherty trade we not have got one of our infield anchors in Tre Sweeney who has been integral in the run we went on.

@@jetsetsabreena4769 so his obp with Detroit is below .300, I will grant you he’s has been good in the field, but offensively he’s a bit of a drag. All this for a good #2 starting pitcher? Yeah, I’ll take Flaherty all day long.

@@smithjones6315 Yes, but he was making many questionable decisions and our farm system was terrible. He made many bad signings which is why we were bad for almost past 10 yrs.
