that 1 good thing about old trucks they bring good memories just like my grand pa every since childhood growing up he would take me riding and do alittle grass cutting and sell cans hauling junk so now iam looking forward getting one just like his if not at least a 57 chevy truck 3100 with an automatic transmission and 350 or 427 motor that way i can always remember them good Times we enjoy rip grand pa love and miss you
Dont know who names'em but you always hit it right on the head. Awsome videos also, love these old 3100s remember hauling hay and Christmas trees in are old truck. I'll sit and watch your videos til I've seen them all, better than the crap on tv you guys are hands down the best at what you do. Keep crankin'em out.
I really enjoy this video. I hv an old 58 Apache fleetside and watch the video before I drive it. Although I’m a black man and the song is country I enjoy all of throughly even to knowing the words to the song. Some may not realize in the midst of a pandemic and racial tension that we hv more in common than we differ. If we were to focus on the commonalities things would be a lot better for all. . From one blood GOD made all of us That’s what the Good book says in Acts chap 17
I Dig. I looking for ideas for my 53 5 window. Love the interior. Think maybe a visor could of been nice. I don't like the raised bed. I know its done so the the air Ride can drop. And by no means a dig at you I don't like any that way. But overall it came out real nice. Not to over done with fake patina and high gloss finish. I guess looking at video comments you have done a few I will have to check them out. Is there a web page. I got my mustang 2 all in hope to knock out my 4 link this week I hope. Going to be very cool. Love these trucks. Mine was a old plumbing truck ocean green. Still has what's left of the name on doors. One of the coolest patinas I have seen. If its ok to ask what did that old truck bring.
I would say it depends on what mods you do and who does them. I am building a 53 5 window I paid 2 k for the truck and have over another 13k in the engine and rolling chassis. But its all new suspension fuel system with 4 wheel disk brake it has all stainless braided lines. I got 5 k in the motor alone a built 350 all chrome and polished aluminum with a serpentine belt system with AC and power steering. I am doing a bit nicer build than this one not to knock it any at all. I will have 18 to 20k in it all done I would think it would bring 35k or so if I was to ever sell but have no plans to. Mine will be a 53 body with original paint and patina but all new everything else. I chose not to do the s10 frame and boxed the existing frame and did mustang 2 front suspension and 4 link rear. It really comes down to what you want. But if you don't do it your self or don't have the ability you are going to have to pay for that dearly. These trucks done right are cool and everyone knows cool is not cheap. I would love to know what this truck brought myself though.
I think they look better like that my friend beautiful job! check out my truck tell me what you think! I'm just getting started with my cars and trucks
