Tighten The Drag is a 501(c)(3) foundation to help benefit the quality of life of those living with spinal cord injury. I was able to put this video together in 2019 for the foundation to show to potential sponsors. I'm sharing this because I was just able to attend one of their fishing tournaments in the Tampa Bay area.
The events are so great for so many reasons, but in my opinion the best aspect is that it gets the disabled and their families talking with one another. As we talk we share ideas, ways we navigate life with our disabilities from new ways to hold a fork to ways you can get insurance to cover things that would otherwise not be affordable to someone who lives off disability income.
