suggestions for a horse that gets to the red zone in the barn/stall if most of the horses are out? Inn the stall he will kick, rear, paw, sweat and just go nuts. Cross ties can yield similar results. Horse is best if you are with him, but walk away and it gets much worse. Tied him up in the stall an hours later - covered in sweat and never gave up the ghost, just lingered in red zone the entire time. When all the horses are in, he's dead quiet and just fine in the stall. I've been told just tie him up and let him figure it out but doesn't seem to mesh with this training at all about managing the orange/red zones and making the horse more confident.

what's the point ? sorry but I don't get it... like "tapping" his back with the stick? and let the stick on the neck? .. sorry but.. I don't know lol. I do R+ and clicker with my horses and lunging a horse can be more sweet than that in my opinion....
First, before doing this, wouldn't it be better to start by getting to the point where the horse is not concerned with the stick before proceeding? Second, when you tap a horse to make it do something on a video, there are viewers who may not be quite as gentle as you and give their horse a wack. Then you need to think about the people who aren't able to replicate what you did and really smack their horse to get it to go.
