The train-spotter guys is genuinely one of my favorite people to stumble upon my fyp, just seeing a person who loves his hobby's as much as he does fills me with secondhand excitement. In the video where he says goodbye to one of his favorite trains when It was being decommissioned, made me tear up
same! he seems like such a sweet guy and it's so lovely to see someone share the hobby they love. it's genuinely sad that people online just can't let others have fun and enjoy life unironically. :/
I’m autistic and I understood to the phrase “people will like you until it’s fun to dislike you” on a deep level. People all through school would like me until I showed my “weird” personality. Related to Francis the train guy waaaaaaay to hard. His story, his passion for a particular interest, everything.
Omg same! Though tbf I never wanted to or well worked out how to mask- i more overcompensated through people pleasing and overachieving. Though Reading was something I fell out of love with. Idk if Francis is autistic but It’s sad it’s mostly autistic traits such as an intense interest you get super excited about and love so much- that always get made fun of in terms of “cringe culture”
Same man. I wasn't diagnosed until 17, so after I left school, but it happened all the time. For me a lot of it was people being nice and friendly in class, even calling me their friend there cause I'd help them with work and often did most of projects, and then at break and lunch completely ignoring me. Ended up sitting on my own and they'd just walk past, not even ask if I wanted to join them. Didn't go into school for 3 months before GCSE's because my anxiety got so bad and didn't receive a single message asking if I was ok. It's awful, and know what you went/are currently going through.

I like how George either really likes animals or really hates animals. Like he will see a cute cat or something and be like “ ah that’s a nice cat, I like him he’s cool” and then see a slightly different cat and be like “ if I had that cat I would put it down” or “ I’d just punt it”. There seems to be no in between
They’re not brain dead for thinking he’s a fake train spotter, they’re subconsciously jealous that he’s made something of his life doing something he loves and they hate that they can’t do the same
I have no opinion on this. But my chemistry lab technician at my school works in a pub where Francis always go to. And he said that Francis is nothing like how he is in his videos. He was telling us this as I dressed up as Francis for children in need.
The train spotter guy is valid and any at how should a 'train spotter' look? It's very judgemental of people to judge appearances it's a case of don't judge a book by its cover, I have had this once I'm neurodivergent and have a special interest in entomology and I had a retired entomologist who was selling his collection of resin encased specimens and I got excited and he turned round and looked me up and down and said to me 'you don't seem like the type to be interested in entomology' it made me feel so defeated
Same shit happens to me when I tell people I'm a chemist. People just like to assume a lot of things just based off of looks and it's almost never good
1:54 I fully agree.. some people at my school used to mock me for my love of the railways.. I remember in Maths once, a lad played the Thomas the Tank Engine theme song just to annoy me.. Before the Internet, boys (and some girls) would be a common sight at railway stations, noting down the numbers of the trains. I feel like Francis has brought the joy of train spotting back to the younger people..
I fully agree! I have had the same bullying experiences regarding my love for railways, Francis has done something that we could have never expected in the train spotting community and brought our small hobby into the limelight! All of a sudden people care about my interests.

@@emstink I wouldn't know everything, I can just do anything. The point was I can give myself any power I want, so if I can't think of it, I can't become/use it. Plus I wouldn't have to do things like immortality (and I probably wouldn't) and even if I did I could change it back. I could make things finite or infinite at will. I understand what you mean, though, immortality/omnipotence would get old fast.

it is canon that the villians helped the heroes after 9/11 the story is that it happened and spiderman swung over to it and saw all the heroes and villians helping out because it was such a terrible thing. these are also so the same villians that release bio weapons,want world domination and blow buildings up

my school did a whole assembly on Francis to talk about how we should be influenced by people like him to not give in to societal pressures. everyone I know still loves him.

As a Scottish person, having our cash turned away bc it's a little bit different is really annoying. It's not like we're using the Euro, it's literally the Pound. We share the same currency. And it's always complete wankers who turn it away too. If it were the other way round, you'd get pissed off too lol x
The Marvel 9/11 thing is real, and it's honestly amazing, like heartbreaking stuff, Doctor Doom and Kingpin start helping people along with the X-Men and the Avengers, it's a Spider-Man comic

Back in my younger days, waaaaay back in the eighties, my friend Kathleen always had me bring my big empty purse, so she could add to her collection of tumblers from whatever bar we were at for the evening. We never got caught, but I would have taken all the blame, even though I never got to keep any of the glasses!
I review restaurants for my school newspaper so I have to describe every detail in a restaurant. I don’t take things that aren’t mine but I am very picky when it comes to aura and cleanliness
From a European perspective it is so weird. You can literally spend French or Greek euro in Estonia or wherever you please. Because it is all one currency... It's really weird how Scottish pounds often aren't accepted.

Dude, I felt that when he talked about Francis. As a trainspotter myself, and being in highschool, I do wish that people could just accept that people like trains. Its just another thing for people to pick on me for ;-;
It’s actually sad about Welvin Da Great., he lives in the streets near the Hollywood walk of fame. His family have tried to help him and get him to come home but he chooses to live homeless, and his old manager took advantage of him and pretty much took all his money.
I take business studies as a class in high school and last year my teacher would unironically show us Gary Vee videos so we could take notes on them and ‘learn from him’, he no longer teaches at my school-
Honestly Francis Bourgeois makes me feel like a complete arsehole because I wish I enjoyed anything like he enjoys trains. He sometimes makes me smile because he’s just living his life and enjoying things. I would trade lives with him in a heartbeat.
I'm just glad it got me and my mum out of the "counting change at the end of the week to see if we can afford food" situation to being able to afford food when we moved back to the UK, plus getting away from an abusive situation. The mental health support in 2012 was absolutely 0 though so I ended up being drugged up and out of it for most of the time I was there
11:24 George, its not the dogs fault, theyre trying to protect themselves, its the owner whos forcing anger on them and making them more agressive because they feel like they are threatened by the owners shoving things like microphones in their faces. The reason why its mostly Chihuahuas in them videos is because people thing they dont have feelings and wont be affected by it but actually, chihuahuas are very emotional and protective since theyre a very small dog and everythings a threat to them, so annoying them by shoving mics in their face is actually abusing the dog, and it is making the dog stressed and can give mental conditions to the dog which will reduce their life span
