Tikka T1X 17HMR Review Part 2!!(with shooting) 

Really enjoyed the video.Good shooting in very difficult conditions.The Tikka is a great rifle.Look forward to more videos with the Tikka T1X.

Nice video. Using the GunData dot org ballistics calculator, wind drift for .17 HMR, 10 mph cross wind, is about 3 inches at 100 yards, 23 inches at 250 yards. Nice shooting, but other than that not too many conclusions to draw. The cold is also going to be a factor in vertical stringing.

Might as well get used to the metric system, your own Military use it and heck, that rifle you have there is made using metric measurements too! :) Tikkas are great rifles, there's no doubt of that!

I know a quick way to warm up your thumbs. It's awkward at first but when you get used to it you can do both at the same time

A new member at my range let me shoot his T1X last weekend. Nice crisp trigger, nice smooth bolt, but terribly uncomfortable stock. If Tikka actually sold the T1X in a dedicated precision stock, like the Savage Precision, they'd have something show off, but as is their stocks stink. Even the UPR stock is nothing to rave about.

Love your videos. Would love to see another T1X related video.

Great shooting in testing conditions! Just swapping my browning t bolt 17 hmr for the 16 inch version of the t1x. Would be great to see you putting that 16 inch version through its paces.

Great video at around a inch in that wind you did well my cz 457 Royal seem to like game points don't think any 17hmr ammo is that great tbf

100 yards is just over 81 meters

So do prefer the tikka or the savage then?

What scope did you have on there?
