In the opinion of someone who is still currently working on my sweater I definitely think crocheting would be easier, and I would also suggest practicing for a while before starting to officially make the squares. I just realized last night that I had mistakenly done the wrong stitch so.... 😂 but I've already finished my squares so this sweater will be a practice one for me and I'll do better on my next project

personally i thing knitting is easier and faster, look up "sheep & stitch" their videos are well explained

Make little squares then put them together I made some 12 ply 20x20 squares and I need two wide three long for the sleeves and idk the other things

Buy one LOL

1) make 51 squares (approximately 15 cm for each side) that equals for me to 25-30 stitches and like ten rows of half double crochet (i think that’s how you call it but it’s basically the one where you need 4 loops on your hook and pull through the loops two by two so that you get three “stages” in one row) 2) put all the squares together without the same colors touching (sleeve 1: 12 squares (3 rows of 4 squares) same for sleeve two. back: 15 squares (3 rows of 5 squares) front part 1: 6 squares (3 rows of 2 squares) same for the other one) 3) do the ribbing around the wrists, waist and collar with a slip stitch 4) add the buttons and so on in the middle 5) crochet all of the pieces together with a mattress stitch with the bits of yarn sticking out from your squares 6) tuck in the tails and stuff 7) live your best life with the cardigan !!!
