such a good find. so many 'fashion' centered content creators either are blind hating, following current trends, or subconsciously feeding into the next trend. tiktok essentially hyped up designer to a point that (through reps and copycats) these brands are handled ways that 2013 - 2018 streetwear was handled. the reasoning behind the opium trend is pretty much same as old hypebeast culture lol. anyways, def subbing for the good takes and even better editing

The algorithm clonery... tiktok fashion is npc asf. Oh the days of when you had to research brands and culture to form your own style when you were into fashion. Shout out anyone who was serious with it 10+ years ago. People got no long term classic ethos now days because they're micro trend hopping into all these categories you displayed at the speed of the internet. People need to look into the past outside of trends to be more individual again even though there is nothing new under the sun

Fasho, your videos are always top notch and quite entertaining. And yes! I have had a few pickups in the last month or two. My foot grew a little bit since I've been taking weight lifting seriously, so I copped a couple new shoes to accommodate. I usually rock retro Retro Number Jordans and sometimes Reebok Iversons, but I figured I would switch it up and cop a used pair of the Jordan Jumpman Team 1 in the OG Black/White colorway. I got them for a third of the retail price from some guy off Poshmark. I gotta say they look really cool but the materials on them are very poor quality, I'm used to the good stuff they put on the Jordans that Michael Jordan would play basketball in. Then around Christmas time I was shopping for the family and came across some steals at Marshall's and had to cop. I got the Reebok Classic Leather in the Double Black/Gum colorway for 40 bucks, which is funny since I used to hate on people who would rock those back in high school because I thought they looked ghetto lmaoo I also picked up some Nautica Sandals in Navy that look identical to Birkenstocks and are super comfy since the soles are made of cork. I have since ditched my Yeezy Slides and Nike x Stussy Slides in exchange for these Cork Sandals. They're phenomenal in the comfort and looks department and only cost me 20 bones, I wear them every single day. I also saw 2 pairs of the New Balance Rainer Hiking Boot Retro, one in a Raincloud Grey that would have looked fire with Red shoelaces, and a Brown/Navy colorway both with Cordura, Suede, and pigskin leather. I originally passed up on both of them to save my money, but later went online and saw that I could not find the Brown/Navy colorway ANYWHERE on the internet. I called up Marshall's and had them hold the last pair for me and picked them up the next day. They also cost me only $40, which was awesome. I previously was on the hunt for some Vintage Nike Boots from the early 90's back in 2020, but I could never find my size. To be honest, the Rainier boots are way better in my opinion, and cleaning used shoes is not fun. Looking back, I think Nike got their design cues from New Balance.
