Honestly she should have taken it up with the dean? Principle? Of her school. Honestly I’m so confused about what kind of school she attends, is it a university or college? Or is it high school or private high school of some sort? Is the main character an adult? This whole thing is super weird.
@@julienicol9202 lets not forget that her bullies committed attempted homicide twice and her mother tried to drug her twice but she said nothing to nobody 😃
i cannot believe we got the my mom sold me to one direction, step siblings, fated mates, enemies to lovers, student/teacher, and werewolf tropes all in one story. what a time to be alive
I think they just asked everyone in the studio what their favorite “adult” category was. Or they asked a bunch of teenagers what their favorite YA novels were.
I watched a good chunk of this purely in ads and when I got the one for that, I actually lost my mind. I less questioned him actively keeping the ruse going because it was done to try and get her to leave and I more questioned why SHE didn’t leave and kept making conversation. Like girl, leave the room. Weird on his end but at least it’s not actually happening, way weirder to stay in the room while your stepson is getting dome
i cant belive that im wasting 5 years of my life and thousands of dollars for a film degree when alpha male vertical content is what passes for entertainment these days good god
@ville__ Wtf why are you still making comments do you not do anything else everyday that's so pathetically sad 😂 do better, you bothered me once im gonna fuck with you until you get banned, also this isn't normal lol, so, do better
@@ProudChristianTherianFox Ville is like a spam bot type of thing, I have to say I've never seen that one before, they must have lifted someone else's comment from somewhere
The most sinister part about this to me is Declan. They included a perfectly nice man and a potentially healthy relationship, just to frame that as wrong. Makes it seem like they know EXACTLY what they're doing here.
FR MORE👏GENUINELY👏HEALTY👏RELATIONSHIPS!! i get it its like if a kindergartener tried to write omegaverse but... why make the main relationship incest, pedophilia, unhealthy, and have an odd power dynamic when there's a genuinely good love interest that is ALREADY in the series???
The second male lead being an objectively better person is such a common thing. Especially when it’s their childhood best friend. But apparently a normal relationship is boring and the way to form real love and passion is through trauma and manipulation.
@@rachelcookie321 😭 seriously, I remember dropping a Jdrama because I read spoilers about about the male best friend being the 2nd male lead and how the girl’s sorta ex-bf was the male lead (for context, she swapped bodies with another girl. Hence the “sorta ex-bf” thing). Like wtf?? It didn’t make any sense! And the 2nd male lead loved her regardless of her appearance 😭
Trust me, you could write a fan fiction about Thomas the Train and Lightning McQueen banging and it would still be infinitely better than this. Your writing skills are vastly superior to the writers of this show.
I'm not a serious writer, I just post things on ao3 or Wattpad so the fact that I genuinely believe that I could write a better love story than this one is crazy haha! Keep writing dude, we need more skilled writers in the world!
@@malachitestormit was iconic in a sense that it was a timecapsule for the golden vampire/werewolf/fanfic era (in a so-bad-it’s-good way). also the soundtrack saved the franchise
@malachitestorm I'm only joking as it is obviously not a "Masterpiece". However the movies did bring in over 5 billion in revenue. The books have sold 160 million copies. Can't really look down on the success twilight has.
@@malachitestorm I used to be a hater. But idk I watched them and they were really silly. My favorite was that whenever he was upset, Jacob would take off his shirt and run off into the woods. To me that was the funniest thing ever 😂
Kurtis Conner interviewed one of the actors, and she said that it wasn't written by AI, but rather a few Chinese people. The translations to English are what made the dialoge so uncanny!
Poll, then: Is this series (a) some random Chinese guy’s weird f***ish passion project, (b) Chinese government psychological warfare against Westerners to make us both dumber and more inbred, or (c) both.
girl that was an actor: they just have good chemistry cause there good actors Chloe: WHAT HAPPENED ADRIAN Adrian: *screaming and growling on top of her*
What writers think we want: Mom sold you to a vampire werewolf teacher draco Harry styles rich mafia boss billionaire CEO step brother loki bad boy football captain kidnapper serial killer slow burn enemies to lovers faked relationship only one bed and I’m not like most girls!
Next season on trope mania, we'll learn that not only is Adrian the alpha, he's also the leader of the local mafia. Obviously, we will learn this plot twist at Jackson Wang's party.
See the whole "shes in heat so shes sweaty" thing makes me believe this was made by AI, because an AI cant tell which definition of heat the 'writers' are trying to use
Fair, however in a lot of werewolf stories, someone who experiences heat feels hot, it's a common thing (or so I've heard hehe^^"), so it doesn't necessarily has to be a "misconception". Still bad writing though, regardless of its origin

the mom when the girl is on the floor with step bro in towel: "HE'S YOUR STEP-BROTHER, NOT FUNNY" the mom when she catches her step-son getting shloppy toppy and girl keeps going: "Didn't mean to disturb, nice to meet you!!"
@@Imjustkendall Couldn't tell if that was directed at me for my abridged quote, or the mom lol but either way in that scene she was the only one in a towel, so I think the idea was she was sEduCiNg hIm. That's why the mom said "Adrian is your step-brother". It's all quite dumb in fact.
The most unrealistic thing is the proactive bullying at university- like who has the time and money to print off photos and go to class early to do that? Not me that’s for sure.
*that* scene with his mom continuing to talk to him and him not stopping what he's (supposedly) engaged in was uh... one of the most hilariously uncomfortable and strange things I've seen
In high school my bf and I were making out with our shirts off and heard his mom coming downstairs and I put a blanket over myself and she had a full conversation with him and didn’t acknowledge me the whole time. But this thing was worse
As a man who's a fan of werewolves, I fucking hate that (1) monster boyfriends in fiction tend to be nuts and/or abusive, and (2) there is a GLARING lack of monster girlfriends in romance stories (outside of anime). There could be a fun story where a down on his luck guy meets this cool girl at college, but for some reason, she's really afraid to show him to her weird friends whose eyes glow in the dark and LOVE meat. She never wants to hang out at the end of the month, but when he tries to surprise her one full moon night with a romantic gesture, he is even MORE surprised...
@@chelseashift Never apologize for wordplay. He's okay that his girlfriend's a bit hairy. And she likes it doggy style... But that's not because of the wolf thing, she swears.
Kurtis interviewed the girl who played Mia and she said the scripts were written originally in Chinese, then probably translated through AI (or a bad translator). Sometimes the actors tried to fix the dialogue, but didn't always had the time (they probably weren't paid enough to rewrite the whole thing tbh...)
@galaxyocicat5660 he made a similar video reacting to a different werewolf/love vertical show, and has a mini interview with her at the end of it (on his main channel)
@@chailattemhmm Are you sure that was Kurtis? Since Ted Nivison just had an interview with the star of a werewolf show, but I don’t remember Kurtis ever doing one. I know he’s reviewed werewolf shows though
I can sum up this show in 4 statements - Here's the main character, dont worry bout her - Here's the main love interest, dont worry bout him - Here's the halfbaked/poorly explained vampire lore, dont worry about it - plot twist at the end happens - why is no one surprised or confused?
ngl actually kinda ashamed I didn't realize Chloe was a werewolf until the "big reveal" also kinda a hottake but I think this kind of "incest" stuff with stepsiblings is lazy, if you're gonna go down that road either make them actually siblings or have them grow up together so it would be internally awkward for them to have any relationship, cause outside of our culture looking down on incest with good reason, there really wouldnt be any reason that their relationship from THAT perspective would be wrong, they're both young adults who met eachother and have some kind of romantic kinship before legally becoming siblings, the creators only made them step-siblings for the shock factor :|
I have to say that it's REALLY addicting 😂😂 I watch them (not paying OBVIOUSLY) but the cringe stories acting and everything gets to you at some point. They also always make me have a good laugh I have to say😂
They’re REALLY bad. We know they’re bad. It’s amazing and hilarious and endless entertainment. That being said, you do find one in a hundred that has a pretty good actress that gives you Stockholm syndrome and makes you think the “movie” was actually good.
I remember being 13, and on behalf of my 13yr old self this is Insulting. I am certain any 13 year old could write something mountains better than this
What I dislike most about this is the idea that wolf packs have "alphas" who control the pack with an iron fist (or paw I guess). It's been debunked countless years ago as it turned out that wolves in the wild form packs based on families, usually the parents and their pups, which rely on the parents gently teaching their pups how to survive by encouraging them with love instead of trying to murder them. Wolves are my all-time favourite animal and it hurts to see them mischaracterised as evil manosphere priests
Same. But on the positive side it has gotten my creative gears turning for world building. And if you were to base werewolf dynamics off real wolf packs, the “alpha” would be more family oriented and only goes berserk if their family is threatened.
"I haven't winced from cringe lately. I've been feeling a little too happy..... and that's a problem we need to fix." This is why you get and retain subs. A true warrior for the cause.
YOOO that bedroom scene when the mom walks in is FOUL. FOUL I TELL YOU. The writers just made a self insert and lived out their fetish fantasies through this "show", it's so obviously catered to a certain type of person....aka predators lmao
This is 90s shoujo manga coded it's ridiculous. The whole step bro, hot moody guy, somehow her professor thing has happened in a manga before MULTIPLE times and I see how bad it is now in person lmfao
"They just have good chemistry because they're great actors. " Ahh yes great...... chemistry.....and....... acting. Not at all a horrifically cringy and abusive relationship, that made me what to physically remove my eyes from my head, to avoid cringing myself into a hernia.
chad chad, because of this video, me, my best friend, and my mom have started saying "You've angered an alpha" everytime a minor inconvenience happens. must i thank thee for starting such a humorous inside joke. thank you chad chad, thank you.
its so hysterical that chloe had no freaking idea what was going on the whole time (or at least it seems like that from this video idk) like he keeps talking about being an "alpha" and "its a wolf thing" and "pack" and "mate" and she just . does not care? like just never bothers to wonder why he keeps talking about that. like in the actual show does he ever confess that he is a werewolf or explain it to her?? does she ever really learn it until that last scene?? everyone around her is just like talking about alphas and shit and shes just like ????? the whole time???
Actually a sick ass sponsor. I’m incredibly sensitive to clothing textures and their shirts are amazing. Personally love my spreading misinformation, girlboss, and Egg Fella shirts.
"Can two people just kiss each other because they want to?" Honestly, I 100% feel this. Even supposedly good romance fiction fails to live up to this standard most of the time.
