The fact jay has a random pole in the middle of his room/workspace is just so hilarious and random, and loving the fact hes adding himself more and more to the videos 😂
Also, cloth pads have been around longer than disposable ones and they are great and hygenic! In fact, cotton ones are safer than any disposable ones because they don't have rayon in them. Also, tampons and pads make up a huge amount of landfill waste and they're only a fairly recent invention. I would recommend looking into them if you are curious, they are worth it and save you a lot of money. I personally use period undies, I prefer them!
Ooo can you share which brand of period undies you use?! I have been wanting to try them but don’t know anyone who uses them to ask which brands are good, and they’re too expensive to be trying a bunch of different brands 😅 I recently switched to a period cup which is okay, but it’s still pretty uncomfortable for me and makes my cramps worse, so I’m desperate for any other products I can try where I don’t have to insert anything or feel super messy like with traditional pads.
I'm a youngest child and I actually got the opposite of being spoiled, I gained a fear of asking for too much because people always acted like I did lol I've never actually related to those videos relating to siblings, I always relate more to the only child, so I guess I just wasn't raised like a youngest child I also tried to avoid my sister as much as possible, didn't like being around her, still don't
Same my brother got an Xbox 1 then a series x and a pc and buys games and zbox game pass(most times with our mom's money bc he's broke) and he gets to visit his friends alot. Meanwhile i got the old Xbox 360, that's broke, the old Xbox 1 that is without games, and a single laptop that barely runs minecraft java. I also hate asking for stuff and spending my mom's money especially if I think it'll cost too much or if it's a monthly subscription(hence the no games on the xbox 1)
Yes, I always know who in my family is walking up the stairs 😂 My sister’s foot steps are light and fast, my dad’s foot steps are heavy and slow, and my mom’s foot steps are slightly lighter but still heavy and slow. ❤ Love you Kris ❤ You are the best ❤
reusable period pads are the same as a diva cup or period panties, it helps reduce the waste in landfills and it's really not that big of a deal. most companies also give you special cloth bags to put dirty ones in if you need to change midday and you're out
I'm a guy so haven't tried reusable pads but tried reusable diapers for the babies on a friend's recommendation, y'know real easy not a big deal right, save money save the planet? Gave it a go and NOPE I'm back to filling the landfills.
Pretty disappointing that she mocked a small business by using that clip, too. And she's ignoring people trying to educate her on the subject, here and on the business's tiktok.
@Dee Wright lol did you mean classiest or classist But I agree with you that her privilege shows pretty often. During 5 minute crafts and other times she often says "they sell that at blank just buy one" But... Not everyone can.
@@rustylee1836 Pretty sure in another 5 minute crafts video she made fun of people over 12 who use pads, something about "grow up and use tampons" YIKES.
@@rustylee1836 The 5 minutes craft videos cost more than the damn dollar store version of the product. They aren't legitimate money saving hacks. They're bullshit clickbate preying on people for views.
That rapture statement is SO TRUE THOUGH! There was a bit when my dad made us all go to church (I don’t go now that I have a choice) and one day I came back from work and I had had a long shift and took a quick nap. I didn’t see anyone when I had first got back but then like an hour later when I woke up there was still no one. The house was silent and the lights were all off and by now it was dark. There was a loud booming noise that shook the house and at the same time a plane passed by outside. I was freaking out as the whole “I don’t go to church and I’m gonna go to hell” thing was always a fear but I was panicking for a minute in the living room before I realized my parents were watching an action movie in the basement and had the volume up loud, we have surround sound speakers that are attached to the drop tile ceiling downstairs so when it’s loud enough you feel it on the main floor.
I live with my cats but I can tell the difference, one of them has dainty quiet footsteps and the other stomps a little bit cuz she's my little butterball
honestly I find like 2% of these "relatable" tiktoks to be relatable at all, or hell, funny at all. But Kris's reaction is typically both and its the only reason I watch 😅
7:35 Cloth pads are basically just disposable pads, but reusable. Made without all the carcinogens, too. There's a company called Cariona, I think? The actual pad part is solid black, they soak up a SHIT TON, and instead of adhesives they have a snap button. Since there's no chemicals, the cramps, itching, and smells are reduced as well. Some people said that their previously chunk flows stopped clotting so much. I've never used them, this is all from Tumblr threads.
I am definitely enjoying the creator/editor interactions! These are such collaborations on both the small and large scale, and you all just keep it fun, and a great break from a localized reality
Ngl cloth pads changed my life. They're absorbent and can be machine washed just fine. I used to always get a rash from disposable pads or risk making cramps worse with tampons. Found out after my period stopped from hrt that the rash from disposable pads was almost definitely from the chlorine used to sanitize them and I could've fixed it by buying the stupid expensive ones that don't use that. Pretty pissed that it's completely legal for companies to sell us chlorine coated leaky cotton to press against our genitals but I guess that's the companies right as a 'merican
Cloth pads are actually wonderful. They don't (normally) have bleach or other chemicals that disposable pads and tampons have. You treat them like a cloth diaper, use a dry bag or bin to put them in until you wash them. I've heard from many women that they actually help lessen cramps and make for shorter periods 😊
@@crystallake5315 I never said it fixed medical problems lol I said sometimes it can help lessen cramps and shorten periods. People who struggle with endometriosis and other medical problems obviously need real help, but cotton vs synthetic materials can definitely make a difference. Same thing with underwear, cotton undies are much better for your nether regions than synthetic stuff.
I use reusable bamboo fibre pads and I can't say they did anything to my flow or agonizing pain. I don't see how the material you are putting on the external will effect your internal uterus or hormones. I use them since it's more environmentally friendly and also cost effective. After 10 months, I'm not spending anything on pads. After soaking and rinsing in cold water, they go in the wash with other laundry, so no more cost of detergent than would otherwise be used anyway. They get washed 3 or 4 at a time.
@@sugarkitty2008 The lessening of uterine cramps from switching to cloth pads is usually more of a tampon users' experience. I find cloth pads to make my period more comfortable because I am allergic or at least sensitive to the stuff they put in pads to make them 'deodorized' (which makes them smell so much worse than literally any other solution). I would say the thing sitting outside but against my body did affect my "cramps" in that it made my labia hurt in addition to my uterus, which I do not experience with cloth pads. I would literally spend the last three days of my period in a state of near-illness when using disposable pads, regardless of how often I changed them. I would say, in my experience, the flow is the same with cloth and regular pads, but I for sure have less overall discomfort and a more manageable mensuration with cloth.
Working in a front of my desk, headphone over my grassy hair when reading another Excel sheet. Feeling like a expired potato, can't wait to go home and take a shower, then I hear in my headphones: "you look like a snack" 00:17
Anyone else just absolutely love how chill and just unfiltered Kris is? Your videos both youtube and tiktok always brings a smile to my face. And to anyone out there in the world strugling rn no matter what it is just remember you're amazing, strong and an absolute badass keep yalls head up!
I'm the youngest, and the only boy, and I was INCREDIBLY SPOILED, both financially and with freedom. I had a severe lack of rules, especially compared to my two older sisters, and practically got away with murder! The way you represent your youngest brother in your skits is actually impressively accurate. Pretty sure my two older sisters still resent me to this day. :D
probably has as much to do with you being a boy as it did your age. I think most parents feel like they have to protect their girls but the boys get freedom to explore and make their own mistakes. Im a guy who had a younger sister and I feel like I had more freedom and less rules as well. This is especially true when they start dating :D
Youngest child here, raised an only child went through a bunch of stuff nobody should have to be going through . Extremely grateful for the place in life i am . 4:52
1:40 ligit me, its 1am rn, scared for my life, wish me luck. Its worth it to watch you I'm the youngest child. I have no proof i'm not spoiled other than the fact that i have trauma and i watch you in my free time.
It's so relieving to know I'm not the only one out there who can focus so much on something that they forget to blink! People get confused when I mention I have a blink button specifically for that on twitch...
I love you Kris! Cloth pads are actually totally chill, and way more sustainable. You just rinse them and then throw them in the wash after one use! I hear you with it being gross, but it's pretty much like wearing underwear and then washing them
@@nobodyuknow. lol, idk if you've ever used a little Dr Bronners (lavender or peppermint are my go tos) when you are finished using it, and then throwing it in the wash with a normal load. It usually helps for me
1:50 nooo me to! My mom is so aggressive with her heels crashing every step, my dad have he’s ring on, and you can hear it on the banisters , and my brother is soooo slow😂
1:40 YES! I knew who was walking, shutting doors, EVEN TURNING ON LIGHTS lol. I could also tell who my parents were on the phone with by the way they talked and what they were talking about. My sisters would be like "who are you talking to?" and my mom would go "none of your business" and I'd be like "grandma". But yes it was definitely a trauma thing......
4:41 As the youngest child, in my family, its the opposite, i get treated like garbage and forced to do everything while the oldest is just chilling, although the middle child in my family is doing some of the work, but might be the most traumatized, while still being a better parent to me then my actual parent
Going into the comments to tell Kris how great cloth pads are just to see that I am not the only one! Love that more of us are making good choices! Love your videos!!
Over the past two years my family has been through a lot. We have had things including death, divorce, sickness and other things affect us significantly. Me, being a kid, had no idea what to do and felt useless. Until I started watching you. My whole family now loves you and my mum thinks of you as 'the one intelligent youtuber'. My friends and I love trying to impersonate your characters, but we can never get them quite the same. Kris you have helped me and millions of other people so much, and I know you will help millions more. Keep it up!! Seeing your face is one of the best parts of our day for all of us. Thank you so much and please keep posting 🥰 🤓
Omg me and my friends also try to do her voices as well. My friend actually did a pretty good Riley voice once. She could never get it quit right again
just wanted to say that cloth pads are actually amazing and it’s a great alternative for those who can’t use a cup! I was hesitant to try it out but cloth pads literally changed my life
They're amazingly thick, thicker than jeans, and they're made to be absorbent for as long as a pad. I also like period panties from AdoreMe, because that's the best pricing I've seen yet, and pairing them with a cup or tampons has been my winner.
I tried the period underwear and it changed everything. I don't like tampons and the cup didn't work for me. Pads made me itchy. Period underwear I forget I am even on my period before the cramps start up again. Better for the environment too.
I was adverse to cloth pads too but honestly, they’re not bad when you get used to them. Cloth pads and a menstrual cup; you got yourself an eco and environmentally friendly period. Also we stan Jay
@@nightowl7374 you see and touch the blood anyway when you change your tampon or pad. This is the same principle but you just wash them. Saves you money in the long run.
I ❤ when you do videos of relatable tiktoks....because I legit relate to almost all of them, all of the time and it makes me feel like a some what normal person! Plus you are funny as crap ❤ but still make sure to make others feel good about themselves! I adore you!
On the subject of eye contact, don't expect it from me at all because sometimes I just wander away not paying attention to the person then when they stop talking I walk over like "why did you just stop, that's so rude" and they're looking at me like "You was 20 feet away, you wasn't listening at all" then I repeat everything they said and everything the people walking by said then they're freaked out and walk away briskly.... Yeah, I don't know anyone else that can do that. 😂😂
Kris is always so positive and she really makes me happy. I was in the hospital for a few days because I was diagnosed with arthritis and I watched KallmeKris the entire way through. She really boost my mood. Love you so much Kris. 💕
I love you and your content. Always making us laugh and always complimenting us. I can literally watch your videos all day without getting bored. Thank you 😊
A cloth pad is exactly the same as a regular pad but you wash it when you are done with it. I guess typically you'd have more than 1 so you can get a clean one when your first one gets dirty.
1:43 I can tell by their footsteps and the way they open the hallway door, its scaryyyy mannnn. I know if im found up at 12:00 at night ima be in trouble, but its also like, you can't say much, what're you doin up at midnight huh!? 😂😭
As a kid who raised in a conservative Christian home, your story of thinking your family was taken in the rapture and you were left behind us super relatable. 😂
Sometimes all I think I have left to live for is Kris’s compliments and her wholesome funny content. Thank you for being the therapist in some weird twisted way
I am a middle and my younger sister got 7 presents one year a month before Christmas and she gets all the attention, she is the "GOLDEN CHILD", thank you for your time.
I'm the younger sibling and I wasn't spoiled. Most of my things were second hand so as a woman in her 30s I'm grateful for what I have. It taught me value and respect.
I’m the youngest of 6 and the only things I got that weren’t hand-me-downs were shoes and underwear. We all played so hard outside, that my older siblings shoes were too full of holes to pass on to me. But it never bothered me.
8:34 I think the scariest time I had with one is when I found two strings, NO idea how I did it, didn't notice/forgot I already had one in and put in another? but thought I'd have to go to the hospital 🤣
the part about the "parents raising their last child like they raised you" my little sister was watching the video with me and stared at me straight away!
9:30 Wow, I somehow feel appreciated just sitting and watching this wholesome person. It sounds weird if I elaborate how numb my ass feels, so I will just say: thanks.
Kris I just want you to know you create such good content and make so many people laugh everyday and please keep doing what you're doing we all love you
All my friends and myself are introverts. We either sit around and watch anime, play Genshin or persona, or we just lay around eating food on our phones 😂
Reusable pads/period underwear have been a game changer for me! No more toxic chemicals going into my body! Just because you don’t fully understand something, doesn’t make it gross or disgusting.
I feel kinda bad when Kris compliments us. Don't get me wrong, it's nice and makes me feel better about myself and my personality, but I barely see comments complimenting Kris back. 🥺 Kris is a *QUEEN* who always seems to be able to make my day brighter. You're so very pretty, Kris. Your eyes are absolutely stunning and your smile gives warmth and peace. You make me realize that I don't have to hide who I really am. That I shouldn't be afraid to let my colors show. Thank you, Kris. You truly are amazing. ❤
