What’s crazy isn’t just the singing but also that she’s nailing the pronunciation and intricacies of what I assume is a foreign language, that’s not easy, I can’t imagine the amount of practice

At any given moment, we could develop an aneurysm, have a stroke, or Alzheimer's. Years of education, knowledge, experiences and memories erased. No longer able to walk, or talk, or know who anyone is. A simple fall down the stairs, a slip on the ice, a car accident...hard enough hit to the head and it's gone.

POV: Who come home after a long, stressful day at the nursing home. You open the door of the apartment complex and shuffle in, still in your nurse scrubs, however in a moments time you are caught off guard by the sound of a lullaby, a familiar one, you remember one of the Russian elders say that "if you can here this and its not from a mother, something is coming for you", you think it's a myth, a folktale, but as you climb the steps of the stairwell you can hear it getting louder and louder, being deafen by the melody, seeing no one around and hearing it being song at multiple places at once you still see no one and every door is a wall, you soon realize that you are the only human in the apartment...

The text may be creepy, but the melody is beautiful and soothing. Lovely voice.

Not sure if the words are correct, but it does show that British and Russian speakers once shared common sentiments when/if they considered their earthly life's final destination. It's raining, it's pouring, the old man isn't snoring, he went to bed just to rest his head and didn't get up in the morning." Yes, I have heard watered-down versions of this where death plays no part, and of course, you don't need a magnificent voice such as yours to sing this British missive, if you wish to frighten the crap out of your kids, and I am not sure that it was a lullaby either, but wherever we are in this world, death and despair still seem to linger in the dust of cold and damp concrete landing stages when the insipid sterility of today's echoing stairways to heaven serve no spiritual purpose.
