U make sure that the tiles are non slippery ones to avoid accident.

Looks good You need concrete pavers with query dust for that effect around the lip of the pool 👍🏾

That's what I originally wanted to go for however, after a conversation I opted for the tiles as I was not confident they would get it right... even though they used quarry dust for the pavers 🤷🏽‍♀️

Hi- hooe your brrak is going well. Im due back in Accra shortly and need a little advice! Its the first time im back with no work to do on the house! So please, what you do with the water that has been sitting in the poly tank for 6 months+? The pipe is off, of course, but i dont want to shower with old water. Last time, i had the tank washed it was orange inside from sand(?) 😮 The workers laughed because at least it wasnt green inside 🤢 So please can i use it in the pool with chlorine, or should i empty it into the drain?

Great question! I believe the water should be okay to go into the pool with the chlorine added, but please don't quote me on this as this is Ghana after all, and we can't vouch for where the guys delivering the water get it from. Because the water was never for consumption it can be replaced every 6 - 12 months which is when we are 'advised' to do so, however if you still don't want to use the water at all then get rid of it. I am just thinking of the fact that most times, the polytanks are left out in direct sunlight, so the stagnant water can breed bacteria ( i.e., legionella disease, agae... ). Perhaps for the next tank top up treat the water with bleach or chlorine to help give it a longer shelf life. You will need to get expert advice on the proper water to bleach/ chlorine ratios of course. I hope this helps 🙏🏽
