Only this game though. Splatfests are supposed to be parties, which why you would think Fins in the Air does this better. Yet the last two splatfests the teams were going at each others thoughts, which is why you are correct.
@@lewisp2862 its written in hiragana and katakana which. when spoken, amount to absolute gibberish. im not completely sure but in english it almost equates to using only vowels to write songs. probably doesn't give the most accurate comparison but it might give a better idea of whats happening
@@lewisp2862 The singers had a sheet with really funny lyrics (AKA absolute gibberish). Their voice sound like squids due to many filters and effects that were added.
@@majevel8891 You meant that the hiragana and katakana given to the singers was absolute gibberish, correct? Because hiragana and katakana are not inherently gibberish.
I know that nintendo has hyped up the new idols a lot with song like this and callies "i love them" in the story mode. But this song is awesome and over all imo the new idols great with how the contrast each other. Shiver is cool cold and ruthless, frye is energetic and bubbly while big man is the glue the bridges the gap between the two with his mellow and chill personality.
Remove even one of the members of Deep Cut and the entire group falls apart. The group was entertaining in the story mode but I kept feeling a sense of sadness in their interactions with New Agent 3, like there putting on a front the entire game. There boss fights start with them cocky but the moment you beat each of them there's a moment where they seem... dejected, like they've gotten used to failure despite trying there hardest to succeed.
@@ScorbunGame I’m really glad it ended with us giving them what they wanted. You know, after we used it to pave the way to saving the world. Everyone wins.
If it wasn't for After Alterna, I'd imagine a remix of this with the Squid Sisters for a battle against all for Deep Cut's boss phases at the same time. Think about it, Frye on the battlefield throwing things at you, Shiver outside the battlefield throwing things at you, and Big Man rapidly inking the small amount of ground you have while also using bombs.
Despite lack of experience, I made up my own lyrics for this song! Take out your weapon, start firin' your ink! They won't get through us, the coast is now clear! This game of mischief is one we have mastered. Follow me mister, we'll take our victory! Rising tides, Something I'm willing to risk for our glory! It's our pride, it's our gold mine, Friend... Fly high! Forget the order, fly high! I'm reaching farther, fly high! Now look at us we're, Bonded T'ill Depth Do Us Part! Get up! Get up! Our team's counting on us, Set out! Set out! Into battle, our turf's valuable. We must not let it get taken away. Halftime is approaching so- Get up! Get up! Our team's counting on us, Set out! Set out! Into battle, our turf's valuable. We must not let it get taken away. Come claim your loot, it's first place prize!
The lyrics made by Sally Strings really fit the song best: I'm stepping to you This part is all me I'm taking over this party ye-yeah! Threading the needle Somebody tryna beat us?! Look at me son! You'll find me flying high! You and me Your streets in neon Lighting our parade! The world knows We've stole the day! YOU KNOW! I need to splat them YOU KNOW! I'm peeking at them YOU KNOW! We're gonna gonna! GET WAY TO CARRIED AWAY! GET UP! GET UP! You're breezy and mellow GET UP! GET UP! Believe in us, little hero! Feel the drum and your heart beat You need to follow me so! GET UP! GET UP! You streak like an arrow GET UP! GET UP! Believe in us little hero Feel the song in your heartbeat NOW SING US YOUR HARROWING SONG
you know splatoon music is good when you get distracted mid turf war to bop your head to this song. (It has caused me to lose about 5 matches in the previous splatfest)
I would put this on the same level as razormind, ode to greed, and I will give you my all from payday 2. As well as meathook, the only thing they fear is you, BFG division, and e1m1 from doom eternal. And the some of the stuff Fairy Tail and dragon ball super soundtracks. And at the time of me writing this, the full game has been out for just over a week, and another splatfest is already imminent.
Listening to this made me think, what if for some sort of dlc Captain Cuttlefish was one of the idols. It would be the best, does anyone else agree? It would also be funny watching and hearing him perform on a stage
0:50 “Come on! Come on! We need get better! Come on! Come on! The fate of all Splatfest, rests on Our determination! Come on! Come on! We’re gonna get stronger! Come on! Come on! The fate of The Earth, rests in Our tentacle-les!”
splatoon 2 gave us the first lesbian idols, now splatoon 3 has brought us the first poly idols EDIT: boy people really wanna beef over others' interpretations of fictional characters, huh? That's why I'm in the polycule and you guys aren't B)
