Tim and Tom square off on the Bugmeister 

Tied so many of these back in the 90's. It had another name back then but can not remember what it was. Tied mostly for guides around Missoula.

@Mr Flagler… I’m embarrassed to admit, I just realised the hackle wrap direction (up /down) is related to the direction of the fibers to avoid trapping them. Tips down wrap up and tips up wrap down… there I was thinking about how Tom did not see the direction of the stacker and I missed that obvious one….

It’s a good thing Tom works at Orvis and has access to fly tying materials. He wastes a lot of material.

I agree with Tim, you messed up the tips flipping it, I trim the hair before I tie it on the hook.
