I have to praise the american crowds, they are very engaged and invested. It reminds me of the kazakh crowd at last year's WAF, super loud and excited. We need more of this at King of the Table... especially the next one that has such important/historical match ups

One of the worst called matches I've ever seen. I know Stroud has been reffing a long time, but hopefully he watches this and learns from it. Absolutely terrible.

I don't agree with the "intentional pushing off the pad" calls. To me it just looked like Austin was transitioning to a press purely using down pressure. Other than that I thought the refereeing was great and the match was very competitive overall!

Tim was not in his top form he addressed this in Beermans show. He had been moving out of state and its taken 3 months to move. So has not been to able prep like he would like with gym and table time. Even though this is not Tim's top form he is still a top puller. Austin is still very strong and raising his level he is a rising star in the sport.

I like Tim but this is complete Bullsh$!. Its yours responsability to keep your elbow on the pad. If the guy is pushing you them you have to pull higher to prevent to get pin. According to this matchup rule set any inside press move would be illegal. At the second some1 pressing you just have to drop your arm and call the "pushing" fault.

I literally only see what you guys see here. I’m so worried about shot composition in the moment that I don’t always catch things beyond what I see in the monitor. The refs have an even better angle than I do. I literally can’t pick a side on this one. It got ugly and several factors contributed to the outcome. My final answer is they need to run it back.

The only issue i saw was that the refs did a bad job at getting them to proper grip up and control the back and forth. Otherwise was a fair fight

There's a lot of rising pressure in arm wrestling. This inherently lifts your elbow up if you cannot resist it. At a high level of skill, you're typically teetering near a lifted elbow while trying to get max leverage during a max effort push.
